  1. Dam, getting so tired of having to find a team to root for come playoff time in any of the sports, would one of my favorite teams please win sometime before i am gone. Sucks having to choose from other peoples favorite teams as mine are sleeping, chasing girls, drinking, golfing, whatever ever they do rather than be playoff teams.... flat out sucking , sucks.....
  2. absolutely defer to your expertise. If i were to be correct it would be a case of every squirrel does find some nuts every once in awhile. Mind you i would not preclude the notion i one of nuts not a squirrel.... :o
  3. analysis saying he closed well after getting early bumped, This week with Bodemeister perhaps just a little tired , he nips him a the wire closing fast for win... may as well have a opinion and a few dollars down , makes it fun.... do appreciate your analysis

  8. amazing man. 78 years old, poet/musician . Thing is he not a old guy trying to be young. He is just himself, his appeal not to just the older generation , but to young and old alike. Looking much forward to this, never thought the opportunity with come again.
  9. Leonard Cohen, coming to London Ontario Dec. 11
  10. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/18937940/report-junior-seau-dead-from-a-self-inflicted-gunshot-wound link to most tragic story.
  11. appreciate this dialogue . I do believe from reading and hearing Clint Malarchuk speak, his desire is by coming out and discussing his experiences that he would assist in more public awareness of a most difficult and sensitive issue. It often said that the greatest disease this day we have is the one of so many in the populous world we live is the disease of loneliness. It of important that people be aware that there help out there. They are not alone.
  12. please read supplied links in original post, at issue is he did mean to shoot himself. Article does state this , as does he do so on his blog and to be shown on Canada's Sportsnet program and in their magazine via article, from his blog, "I woke up in intensive care, and I had a bullet in my head, and I was alive, and all that crap and grief and everything that made me put that bullet in my head made me think, Thank God, it didn't kill me. I'm here for a reason. And I don't know if I would say the best day of my life, but it was certainly a revealing day of my life, an emotional day. It really woke me up as far as I'm meant to be here. There's a reason we're here and you better find it. He does clearly state he has issues with depression , this the very reason he tried to kill himself. I think you must have missed my links. His issues of depression very real and the source of post and reason. :) .
  13. http://www.malarchuk.com/Home_on_the_Ranch_with_former_NHL_Goalie_and_Cowboy_Clint_Malarchuk/Welcome.html above a link to his website. His blog discusses the issue and other matters. it of value to have perspective about the people in the uniforms, much isnt what it seems...
  14. http://deadspin.com/5881954/im-walking-around-with-a-bullet-in-my-head-and-a-scar-on-my-neck-clint-malarchuk-at-50 take some some and read article . Turns out famous incident has not been only time he faced death. Discusses the important issue of depression. Sobering but most important... quote, "I’m Walking Around With A Bullet In My Head And A Scar On My Neck": Clint Malarchuk, At 50 sorry for the bold, this came up in cut and paste....
  15. No harm in bringing in such a player. Clearly Young has had some personal issues, but it fair enough to see if he has overcome them or at least working on them and current Bills staff and this environment awaken the great talent that lies within. Management just their jobs bringing in players, there should be concern if they were not. For sake of argument TO its said is either bankrupt or close to it, If his situation is motivating him to be working his behind off to gain a roster spot somewhere and he be a hard working player happy to play, why not even bring in even him.
  16. bottom line to all this is Hodgson is not the first player not to get along with management and certainly will not be the last. Its clear given Roberts comments not just to Buffalo News, but to a good number of other media sorts, Hodgson is at this time dedicating himself to being as fit as he can possibly be. See can only portend better things in Buffalo. Because a player does not get along in one location does not mean he is not going to get along in another. Buffalo will know more seeing this player after a full season in Buffalo... Vancouver made trade because the recognized they were a soft team, getting such a young player did not help them this season. Buffalo need more goals, time will tell if Hodgson part of answer. Frankly both players young guys both with some maturity issues both teams hope with be resolved with experience. imo
  17. no doubt it has been a over long period of time that the team has not had success and there certainly have been games that I have baled on as simply it is no fun at all watching team get humiliated/destroyed. Still through it all year in and year out i do maintain my interest in team as for me the social aspects of over time getting to know many fine good decent folk who follow the team a blessing and i feel myself a winner for it in spite of teams lack of success. This point for me a constant.
  18. i hear this and it plays in my head for days Oh, oh moja droga jacie kocham Means that I love you so Moja droga jacie kocham More than you'll ever know Kocham ciebie calem serce Love you with all my heart Return to me and always be My melody of love la la la la lala......yikes
  19. hello to you as well... :) . In sincerity my comments were not to incite. Will admit to my zeal regarding NHL hockey low, frankly follow my local team the Stratford Cullitons, more intently as they much more representative of hockey I enjoy and regular town folk. Any comments i would make regarding Leafs on this site, more attempts at what i wish to be simple fun back and forth, I do wish for you well, me I very much wanted a team in my area of Kitchener/Waterloo and this will never happen, which cuts out of the equation many grass roots hockey fans in southwestern ontario. The NHL is not for these communities, thus simply put piss on the Leafs and the NHL. (i do not pretend my thoughts of any import, but this is why i am not to be seen. You a good group of folk, wish you well....
  20. not to be wise but it just can't even be a thinking process , when one of your guys gets run, its got to be instinctual that team mates do something about it. All the after the event talk comes across as whining and false spear shaking. Lucic this simply because he has zero respect for Sabres and one can very clearly argue Sabres have shown zero to gain any respect. As he said Bruins and Sabres two very different team, his would not allow it, the Sabres did. As of today got to be hard for guys to look at each other in the room, team mates just have to have each others back. Even small guys standing up getting punched out, it speaks volumes, that even opponents respect.
  21. that's not very nice.... can't have that in December as we need be Merry and kindly to our fellow mankind, peaceful , gentle ect, ect... :)
  22. Reading TSN account of game... Miller is now 23-8 career against Leafs. ca67' timestamp='1290832038' post='235732'] Wilson lost control of that team in the first period. Cost the Leafs the game.
  23. my goodness the horror does continue, in the last 19 games against Leafs the Sabres have won 16.... now that is not nice at all... 'almost makes a person mad... almost
  24. hoping that what happened last time these two met does not happen again... expecting a good old behind kicking ... by the right team.... :D
  25. oh my do I hate it when the Sabres beat the Leafs..... score in last seconds, win in a shootout. Turn the knife or what eh... . and whats with all these women i see in my rear view mirror in such a hurry, where are you going anyway. You are all making me tense , slow down.... also someone ate all the cookies.....
