  1. ha, which is why he'll prolly sign with NJ.
  2. Sorry, but I see only 5 winnable games in Oct.... 10 points in 12 games. Maybe squeak out an OT point here or there to get to 11 or 12, but it's a rough start.... new system, new players, west coast road trip. W: @NYI, NJD, @VGK, VAN, DET L: MTL, @SJS, @LAK, @ANA, @BOS, @CBJ, SJS
  3. My money is on NJ. Believe it or not, the Knights actually have a log jam at D.
  4. He reminds me of a young Rich Gannon.
  5. I expect a very very poor start. They'll struggle to keep the goals against down because of Housley's firewagon system. Lehner will be exposed as they'll give up 5-6 breakaways a game. Johnson will take over sometime late October, and they'll start winning some games. Overall an up and down season while they adjust to the new system, missing the playoffs by a dozen points or more.
  6. 26 - Plante 27 - May 28 - Audette 29 - Tsygurov 30 - Barrasso
  7. 21. Ruuttu 22. Ruff 23. Orlando 24. Kruse 25. Andreychuk
  8. So you're a fair weather fan.... explains a lot.
  9. They all had a "C" on their jersey. Bergeron was a +12 Toews a +27 Kopitar was a +74 TRpm They made the All-Pro team and played in the pro-bowl. Toews won the dunk contest and they all made the World Series, Bergeron with a 3 rushing touchdowns and 4 triple doubles.
  10. what if it happens at night?
  11. 12 - Kotalik 13 - Kozlov 14 - Moller 15 - Creighton 16 - Shannon 17 - Omark 18 - Snuggerud 19 - Tanti 20 - Sweeney
  12. had 4 pairs of sunglasses got a very clear view here in southern Cal (65%). it wasn't dark, but strange lighting seemed like the sun was at half power
  13. They are better. What has Eichel done really? There's no doubt he's ranked poorly because of his injury last season. We all know what he's capable of, but can he do it consistently over the course of an entire season, multiple seasons, get his team to the playoffs, etc..? IMO the answer is yes, but he needs to do it.
  14. wow. a bunch of Bison's memories triggered
  15. Just seems strange for pro sports. And what's in the bag? And why would he carry it in an airport? So many questions, and we don't really even know if that was him or not.
  16. why would they give him swag?
  17. 6. Housley 7. Tucker 8. Bodger 9. Roy 10. Hawerchuck
  18. 1 - Cloutier 2 - ______ I wasn't around for the Horton days. 3 - Galley (still have the jersey) 4 - Warrener 5 - Ramsey
  19. dammit. I would've loved to have Cullen instead of Girgensons. There are way better players out there for $1.6m than Girgensons.
  20. It's fun, but I miss the like/dislike button tho.
  21. Dumb. I still don't get why they don't just use the outdoor sheet at the Ralph which will already be setup for the WJC. I get that sponsors, etc are different, but that only takes a day or two to repaint the ice and swap out decals on the boards. Seems like a waste to go through all that trouble for one game, and then schedule a Sabres "home" game in NYC. Thanks Bettman, you idiot.
  22. Eichel 30g Kane 27g ROR 22g Reinhart 20g Okposo 20g It's gonna take about 30 games for them to get comfortable in Housely's firewagon system and adjust to the new line combinations... so I expect a slow start. They desperately need somebody to offload ROR's minutes or he's gonna be fried by Christmas again. And that's going to hurt production across the board, because they don't have that guy yet.
  23. Interesting. Has any team ever done that? Take 2 QBs in the first few rounds? I wouldn't hate it... but they need OL, WR, and LB help too.
  24. "Pre-Bylsma" should be "Pre-Eichel and O'Reilly". His drop in production had less to do with the head coach, and more to do with better players ahead of him. Zemgus was the first line C in 2014-15, he played the power play, etc.. and saw over 19min/gm of ice time playing with the top offense players. He averaged 0.5 ppg that season. Under Bylsma he was relegated to 3rd line minutes (which is where his skill set belongs IMO). His time on the PP dropped because of ROR, Eichel, Reinhart, Kane, Okposo, etc.. NOT because of Bylsma. Zemgus has the skillset to play 4th line minutes on a contender, maybe 3rd line. To blame Bylsma for his drop off in production is a joke.
