They don't practice on game days, where most guys will skate only 12-16min. There are already scheduled off-days throughout the season.

I would never cancel a scheduled practice for a team that finished in last place the prior year.

Yeah I think these are similar to what they wore in the 80s.

1 - He looks the same as last season, disappointing. 2 - No, leave him where he is. 3 - Skinner generates his own chances, leave him with Berglund who can cover for him defensively. 4 - He's where he should be. Shows flashes of skill, just needs to make better decisions with the puck. Leave him where he is for now, he's close to breaking through offensively IMO. 5 - Limit their ice time, they're not NHL players.

I, for one, am somewhat surprised at his success. Watching him play in the prospects tournament, I didn't feel that great about his game. That said, it's still early, let's see how he develops before anointing him a future starter. It's certainly better than seeing him struggle, but at the same time he's going from playing against men overseas to kids in the OHL... who generally don't have the same shot velocity as he's been accustomed to.

....and I'll add this... IMO Carter Hutton is having a bigger impact on how this team plays than anything that Housley is doing. Hutton's presence alone has appeared to straightened out whatever negativity was plaguing the locker room.... not Housley.

Fantastic! Looks great. What did that cost if you don't mind me asking? Need to do something similar in our upstairs bath... it's a disaster atm. Had solar installed last week. 32 panels, 9kw system which will supply 110% of our peak usage. During the summer months our electric bill averages $400-$500 (pool + AC). Winter months is generally around $200. The utility (SDGE) squares up once a year where you only pay if your yearly usage exceeds your yearly output back into the grid.

...and likewise, the seat get's hotter and hotter which each slow start and lackluster effort. The good efforts needs to significantly outnumber the bad efforts.

I've said it before... morning skates are unnecessary... and should be a rare occurrence. IMO, players would perform better if they could rest on gamedays, catch up on sleep, let the body recover completely. That said, a good solid practice on off-days is vital.

morning skate isn't practice.

They're giving up 36 shots against per game, while only generating 26. You can't win consistently with those numbers.
