  1. As per the NHL, a faceoff win is determined by the team that ends up controlling possession of the puck after the faceoff has taken place. Therefore, the center is more likely to "win" a faceoff if he can pull the puck directly back to his defensemen. So anybody who proclaims that puck possession matters therefore must also proclaim that faceoffs matter. Checkmate anti-faceoffites.
  2. Why do you think DG is a better HC than any of the available candidates?
  3. So you agree that faceoffs matter?
  4. See a penny, pick it up, and all day long you'll have a penny.
  5. He's a young goalie who has improved at every level he's played. He has the physical tools. Why is it so hard to fathom that he'll continue to get better?
  6. Buffalo doesn't win last night if Reinhart takes that faceoff instead of Skinner.
  7. Do better.
  8. Plays poorly = he's trash Plays well = it's the team in front of him and bad opponents SMH
  9. Why even have a guy lineup on the dot? Just let the other team have the puck every faceoff, I mean, what's the difference since they don't matter? Sam is obviously center. C2 solved.
  10. Oh god it's even worse
  11. ..and a 5th for Johansson who's 3-0-1, 1.89 GAA, .929 sv% im 4 starts for his new team.
  12. Reinhart was 1 for 7 on draws tonight. Skinner 5 for 7. hmmmm
  13. 4 starts, 3-0-1, 1.87 GAA, .929 sv% smh
  14. I liked Montour's game, sure he makes the occasional gaffe, but he's active in all three zones, skates extremely well, contributes offense, and has no personal baggage. He's a great fit for FLA and he'll do very well there. He's a guy I think that under the right coach could take his game to another level, he has the skillset to do so.
  15. After the Hall trade I have no faith in KA to get anything of value for Ullmark. Frankly, I'm terrified of what tomorrow might bring. We could be back to 2013-14.
  16. In the land of the blind, one-eyed man is king.
  17. A good sample size for what? It's funny, the consensus here was they stole a 5th from COL for a guy who is no where near NHL material. Again, he's still young for a goalie and he's imrpoved at every level he's played. This 3 game stretch proves he's at least capable of playing in the NHL. Wether or not he can sustain those numbers, probably not, but he's proven that he belongs and when he's on, he's above average... better than Tokarski and Hutton.
  18. I like what he's done. He knew what things were wrong and has tried to correct them. That said, do better.
  19. I'll say it again, he's my most hated Sabre of all time. He failed miserably at everything he was brought in here to do.... and gave zero F's .
  20. He's a key piece of the core, sign him.
  21. I believe it was 5 or 6 last I checked.
  22. Dear haters, JJ w/ COL.... 3 games, 2-0-1, 2.13 GAA, .921 SV% ...i hated this trade from day one, to give up on a young goalie prospect you spent years of resources on to develop is how you build a losing franchise. And Hutton is still a Sabre, smh.
  23. Montour was a good player, I do not approve this trade.
