One of my pet peeves is the all-pervasive wrong use of apostrophes. When I went to university, one single misspelling or grammatical error resulted in one grade point off. Guys, if you don't know how to use an apostrophe, DON'T USE THEM. They're usually not needed.

Why all hockey players don't wear cages is beyond me. I've been hit in the head with sticks numerous times and tg for the cage. I've seen people get severe eye injuries while wearing a visor. Cages are it. Any wonder why all football players wear cages? And they don't even play with a hard rubber puck.

Wondering if Tage and Dahlin are playing hurt. They aren't doing the things we're used to see them do lately. Tage especially looks like his moves aren't working anymore, as if they know what he's going to do. He can't get shots off either. All he does successfully now is pass. Dahlin doesn't seem to do those rushes up the ice as well as the setups and little fakes inside the blueline on the pp.

Maybe that was the deal with Satan that Briere and Drury made when they parted ways with the Sabres on the same day...that they would someday become GMs for rival teams.

For Buffalo's sake, I hope Levi is the second coming of Barasso, who started and did well on the Sabres right out of high school.

Maybe they should all skip the next few games and rest up.

As I said before, scoring four goals should be enough to win a game. If your goalie lets in four, pull him every time. Don't leave him in for ten unless you want him to demand to be traded or released.

I did love Greenway's screen on Okposo's goal. He was big, he blocked Sorokin's vision and he couldn't be moved. I haven't seen that done by a Sabre in what seems like years.

Maybe because he's inconsistent?
