I hate the 2-3-2 format in the baseball division playoffs and World Series. I know it cuts down on travel days, but why do they need to have a day off when going from one city to another.

I might be wrong on this, but I believe it was Kent Hull and Glen Parker who were regulars at Sabres games during their playing days, and it makes me smile thinking about these huge men trying to fit into a seat at the Aud. Unfortunately for those of use who grew up with the Sabres & Bills in the 70's & 80's, a lot of our heroes from years past are going to leave us over the next decade or two. :(

Erie County's 911 system is screwed up. I came across a women who while driving passed out somehow she did not hit me as her car was still in drive. While a couple of other guys ran to the car in an attempt to stop it, I called 911. I played 20 questions, and was then told, "hold while we transfer you", and then proceeded to play another round of 20 questions. In the meantime, this women is unconscious in her car. What the heck is the transfer all about. I can only hope they dispatched someone prior to ending the 2nd round of 20 questions. If not... :wallbash: :wallbash:

Anyone know why I can't put Zajac on IR. He is out for at least several months. I know in order to do this in past years, you would have to switch to classic mode to see the IR option, but it doesn't show up for Zajac.

The season hasn't even started, and I've already lost interest in the Shanny PSA's.

Is Shanahan going to be also be doing videos of cases where a suspension WASN'T handed down, explaining why the hit in question was legit? PS IMO, based on the NHL's track record, this "rule with an iron fist" will fizzle down the stretch run and through the playoffs.

I thought the new cable box/dvr's were the Cisco ones? That is what I have been told in the past and every time I ask, I am told they don't have any available for swaps.

I've never noticed, but usually I am too pissed at the video quality to even think about the audio quality. :angry:

Here we are almost a year after my HD TV purchase, and my T-W feed for some channels is still crap. Fast moving close-ups of sports or action movies results in varying amounts of pixelating on many channels. I have had them out numerous times to no avail. I know it is not the TV, because sports on some channels(ESPN), I don't see the problem at all. Other channels(NBC), are horrible and I see it all the time. If they are compressing the signal as some here previously suggested, they are never going to own up to it. Therefore, I either live with it, keep making them come out to be a pain in the ass, or switch to having a Wok on the side of my house(no thanks). PS Verizon has stalled on their FIOS deployment in WNY, so I am screwed in that regard.

My team(Labatt Blue - Gold League) is pretty strong in the faceoffs, hits and blocked shots category. Don't know about the rest of my team. :lol:

Even so, the parallel parking done on the road test is nothing like what you are doing on a daily basis. It is one car on the street with wide open curb behind that car. It is not, here are two cars with a 10 ft opening between them, go for it.

1. When is the NYS DMV going to revise what is included on the road test? Take out ###### like parallel parking and 3 point turns, and include having to go on a busy street(road test locations of East Aurora and Orchard Park don't cut it), make people get on and off the thruway and when possible have them go thru a traffic circle(see my rant below). Also, make it so that once you hit a certain age, you need to take a road test every 5 years(70 or 75???) 2. There are several new traffic circles that have been constructed in WNY over the last few years, and people are clueless as to how something so simple works....the cars ENTERING the circle YIELD to cars IN the circle. Do you idiots not know what yield means? 3. Every year I have chronic cough problems that flare up as soon as the temps start to drop. I've been to the doctors well over a hundred times over the last 30 years and all the visits and tests have never got to the bottom of it. :angry:
