I know Tim's has market share in WNY, but IMO the bagels and doughtnuts from Dunkin' are hands down better.

I think people are getting caught up in all the rumors regarding what TM is looking for in return of trading Myers. IMO if traded, he will bring back a lot less than what is being reported that TM is holding out for, or what fans think the Sabres will get.

I know the Royals are the ultimate underdog(no playoffs in 29 years, small market, etc...), but for some reason I still want the Giants to win. They just seem like a team that is easy to root for with clutch players(Posey, Pence, Sandoval, etc...), a great stadium, and a chance for a mini-dynasties(this would be 3 in 5 years if they win). That being said, I have been a Cardinals fan since I was a kid in the 60's.

Wouldn't you think that maybe if Reinhart had some success on the PP, that it might be a confidence boost? You know what send Zadorov and Reinhart back to juniors, send Risto back to Rochester, and call up Ellis and Luke Adam.

My biggest concern with Nolan all along has been his ability/willingness to develop the young players/prospects. In this case. specifically Zadorov, RIsto, Girgensons & Reinhart. One guy has been in the press box prior to the most recent game(Zadorov), one appears to be be up and down(Risto), one would be fine no matter who the coach is(Girgensons), and one is playing with 4th liners and seems destined to be banished back to juniors(Reinhart). I'd give Nolan a grade of D+ in this regard, and the grade is still slipping.

I think this is the game where goaltending falls apart. San Jose while their W-L record is pedestrian early in the season, is an offensive juggernaut. San Jose 8 Buffalo 1.

I'm not sure when wearing a costume should stop, but as someone in their mid-50's, I am thankful that I stopped getting invited to Halloween parties about 15-20 years ago. :ph34r:

After the first handful of games and looking at rosters, I think it will be a two team race...Buffalo and Carolina. While the CHL contenders(Edmonton, Winnipeg & Calgary) in the western conference have a much tougher schedule, IMO they also have better teams.

IMO...I'd rather make the 90 minute drive and go watch him in Erie in a smaller arena setting in front of their home fans. That being said, kudos to those going to the game tonight.

TM definitely has time to wait with Myers(or not trade him at all). On the other hand, if this season continues to go south QUICKLY, if I was him I would not be afraid to pull the quick trigger on Stafford or Stewart if a reasonable offer is made. Keep in mind, if they go down with a serious injury, their trade value falls to zero ASAP, and the Sabres see them walk away with no return next July 1st.

I don't get it. I'm not saying Zadorov has to play in every game, but to not dress him at all when the team is playing as poorly as possible, is more of the same jerking around that they did with Grigorenko over the last 3 years. Either get him in a game(even if he is playing limited minutes) or send him back to junior. As much as I am pro-tank, this team has so little to get excited about in terms of prospects on the big club(Z, Risto, ????), that I can see myself losing complete interest by the new year.
