Peters has been blabbering all summer long about how Reinhart needs to play in the AHL this year. STFU already. I don't know why he has such a hard-on about this, but the kid has done nothing but impress at the rookie camp and more recently at the prospects tourney. I'm guessing you will be cheering for him to the bed in training camp and in the preseason games so that you can continue with your agenda. in all fairness most of the WNY sports focus is on the Bills right now. I imagine that once we get within a week or two of the season the demand will go up(hopefully says this season ticket holder). If the Sabres get off to a decent start(not hard to improve on the last two seasons), then the market will continue to trend upwards.

What is different from last year? I personally would drop shorthanded categories. More luck than anything. No one is drafting players based on the 3 or 4 shorthand points they accrue in an ENTIRE SEASON.

Getting out of the harbor center ramp on non arena event days is a joke. They have a self checkout(no booth if they wanted to have an attendant), and getting out of the ramp is always a cluster because either the machine is not working and/or people can't figure out how to insert ticket and then credit card. Tried contacting harbor center mgmt via their website about this issue...can't seem to be bothered to reply.

He has played 400 games at the nhl level. You don't get that far without being a decent skater. He may not be a great skater, but some make it seem like he can't even stand up on skates. He is an experienced blueliner(they need help), who can score on the PP, and the Sabres aren't committing a lot of years to him. Where are the negatives in this signing?

Why is this thread even active? Who cares about any of the players we traded? Honestly, I hope they all the bed, Winnipeg misses the playoffs for the next decade, and Kane and Bogosian lead the Sabres to a Cup.

I can't see ROR being anything close to a scapegoat unless someone wants to hold the DWI against him. I think he will be a fan favorite from day one.

A few things on this... 1 - No NCAA players will be attending. It has nothing to do with eligibility, and everything to do with school being in session along with hockey practices at the schools probably already in session. Same reason why you never see NCAA players at training camp. 2 - There is NO WAY that Eichel and Reinhart will be sitting this out....short of being injured. Not even a fraction of a percent. 3 - Criteria for prospect eligibility will be agreed upon prior to competition by all teams involved. Could be age based, number of AHL games, number of NHL games, etc....
