If any defenseman is traded other than Montour, I may blow a gasket. He is terrible, and his only future is becoming part of the Ice Capades. Bonus reason for wanting him traded...he has a face made for punching.

I would trade Montour for top 6 forward help(add a pick or prospect), before any other Sabres blue liner. Just not a fan.

While I predicted a Leafs blowout prior to the game, nothing makes me happier than knowing all the Leaf fans are going home pissed off after the game. I hope the border traffic was horrendous That 3 goal burst may have been a top 5 highlight of the Pegula era.

Not that I am the typical target audience of the Amerks(in terms of attending games), but as someone in the eastern suburbs of Buffalo, I would probably attend 5 games a year if the arena was anywhere to the west/southwest of downtown Rochester and knock my commute time to 50-55 minutes(assuming good driving weather). That being said, the downtown location is central to all of Rochester, and I understand that it is perfectly located for the local fanbase.

If the Sabres decide to keep RIsto, build a group of 7 blueliners around Risto, Dahlin and Joker. Bogo gone, Pilut in Rochester and good as an emergency call-up, trade McCabe & Montour, keep Miller as a 6-7 guy. So 3 spots up for grab next season.

I said "maybe". :) If I had to, I'd trade Girgensons before Larsson, but you are right, the stink that is on the players who have been around for the last several years, may never be washed off.

Hutton has had a few decent games since Ullmark got hurt. Probably about time for the wheels to come off...once again.

If there was a compliance buyout that magically appeared in the off-season, I'm not sure who I'd rather use it on... A - Okposo 3 years remaining at 6mil per or B - Skinner 7 years remaining at 9mil per I'm leaning towards Skinner

I've listened to this several times, and I'm still not sure that this isn't one of those callers doing schtick.

I'd also add that we need energy players on the 4th line...such as guys like Foligno, Deslauriers and Carrier. ? Someone that when the team needs a shot in the arm, he is going to go out there and put a few players into the boards.

I'm not a Montour fan at all. His "freelancing" appears to have been reigned in by RK and staff, but he's just another PMD without much effectiveness in his own end. How many figure skaters does JB need on the blueline?
