That’s the problem. If Ralphie is canned tomorrow, IMO it would be Granato and Smith for the rest of the year. If I thought they would hire Gallant immediately, I’d be right there with you demanding Ralph should be fired ASAP.

Unfortunately without the center ice package it’s hard to see many teams, but I am interested in how the season plays out for Florida and Carolina.

Unless he is really damaging young player development, there is no reason to fire him now...as long as it takes place as soon as the season ends.

The Bills have become respectable because of Josh Allen. If he happened to be picked one slot before the Bills, they would still be an 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 middle of the pack team, and no one would be calling McD and Beane geniuses. The Sabres desperately need an experienced PoHO.

No assistant GM & no one with the title of pro/nhl scout...where is the director of pro personnel? For fans who want HC and player changes ASAP, be very scared. Didn't Florida do a mini-overhaul of their roster in the off-season, and yet here they are one of the better teams in hockey? Off the top of my head, Dadonov, Trocheck and Hoffman all sent packing, and they are a better team than last year. Hey Kym and Kevyn...take note of this.

Hall was fine as a 1 year gamble, but no way do I re-sign him to a big multi-year deal. 14 career playoff games over 10+ NHL seasons, almost always a minus player, and soon to be on the wrong side of thirty. Thanks, but a big NO THANKS. He is exactly what this teams needs LESS of, not MORE of.

How often is a team that is out of the playoff race a buyer at the deadline, making acquisitions for the future, at a time when the prices are sky high, and the competition is fierce? Then again, that sounds exactly something like this screwed up franchise would do. 😂

You're kidding, right? This is what you want to do at the TDL? When the Sabres are hopelessly out of the playoff race? This is what should happen...trade Hall, Staal, Montour and RIeder(all pending UFA's). Take this best pick/prospect offer for each of them. That's it. Then after the last day of the season, fire RK, and his entire staff, hire a PoHO, let him decide the future of KA, and go from there.

I'd be fine with this(the Granato part), as long as Steve Smith is also kicked to the curb ASAP. If I ever hear a rumor that Steve Smith's coaching of Dahlin is the reason for his struggles, I may go seek him out, and take a few swings at him.
