Just wanted to comment on the passing of long-time TSN broadcaster here in Canada Darren Dutchyshen, who passed away yesterday from prostate cancer at the far too young age of 57. We both grew up in Saskatchewan in the same era. The only time I saw Dutchy in person was at Grey Cup 2013 in Regina. We were in the bar in the Hotel Saskatchewan supporting the hometown Saskatchewan Roughriders, and we were having almost as much fun as he was. Good dude, represented "Saskie" well. Moose Jaw Warriors continued their clutch play with an OT win tonight over Portland to take a 3-0 series lead. With the next two games in Moose Jaw, they have a great chance to end it at home. Savoie with an assist.

My first thought when I heard this was that heads would be exploding over this on Sabrespace. Of course, the whining is so predictable and lame. Good move by the team to keep him in the organization with a solid chance to take over head coach in a couple years.

Why work yourself up like this over speculation? You and I have no idea who KA talked to. Nor do I really care either, we got the right man for the job IMO.

Lindholm has not been good since he's been with the Canucks, and the fanbase doesn't have much respect for the way he's played. Maybe things change after tonight.
