Leafs are toast. Hey, we're not the Leafs!

Arizona Coyotes are relocating to Utah as Utah HC (hockey club)

Utah is the leading global producer of beryllium, which is used x-ray equipment. How about the Utah X-Rays? It's as good as anything else they've come up with. -
Well, What Is Your Reaction To Ruff Being Hired. A Poll

The Canucks fanbase are not huge fans of him. Too many dumb penalties for starters. They've warmed to him a bit more this year with the team's success. Honestly, he has been okay at best the last few years, nothing special. -
Serious question - have you ever, I mean ever said anything remotely positive on this forum? Even once? It's tedious having to scroll through your always predictable, always negative posts.

The Canucks weren't very good under Green. Look at 'em now...

Did the Wings make the playoffs with Kane? Is he going to be on their team next year?

Time to bring back Ted Nolan as an AC, lol. Out of the options available, I'm fine with this move. Now lets go!

Who will be the next Head Coach of the Buffalo Sabres?
Sabres73 replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I can't imagine an NHL coach would have any interest in, or have any influence on selecting broadcasters, media, trainers, equipment people, or medical staff. That sounds completely like fantasy land. Particularly medical staff. Coaches dedicate their time towards coaching duties. Exactly what expertise does a potential coach have in picking medical staff, other than none? -
I agree Skinner must go, but we may have to hold on to him one more year before buying him out. I simply disagree with your over-the-top comments about Adams, I firmly believe we're on the path, and he will get us in the playoffs next year, and for several years thereafter. "4 levels above his competency" is just silly and disrespectful.

So stop reading my posts, speaking for other people, and calling my posts BS. Thank you.

Yes they did, and I thought they would make it as well - it was a bit disappointing, but again - people need to look at the big picture. And my point stands, there were no expectations of a playoff run the previous three years.
-
They weren't expected to make the playoffs these three years, they were doing a total rebuild. Some of you need to step back and rethink your comments. Unless of course you thought we would be in the playoffs the last three years while we were revamping the lineup and developing the youngest team in the league. Right.
-
To answer your questions - they make the playoffs next year. Legitimately challenge for the Cup within 3-4 years. In the playoffs for the foreseeable future. What is obvious about the youngest team in the league's direction is that the hardest part is done, accumulating talent. The rest is natural growth and experience, and some tweaking of the roster. That's what my eyes see. Your opinion may be different.

The disciplined rebuild in retrospect will be seen as a long-term success. Missing the playoffs this year is just not seeing the big picture that will unfold over the next several years. It seems pretty obvious to me that that is where this team is going.
