It's not really a cap problem when you have the core of your young team locked up for years in what will be seen as very reasonable contracts.

I spent a week in Prague a few years ago. One day was completely dedicated to beer sampling. What a day, haha. Nightcap was a fancy absinthe in a very creepy underground bar. Can't recommend beautiful Prague enough.

Just wanted to comment on the passing of long-time TSN broadcaster here in Canada Darren Dutchyshen, who passed away yesterday from prostate cancer at the far too young age of 57. We both grew up in Saskatchewan in the same era. The only time I saw Dutchy in person was at Grey Cup 2013 in Regina. We were in the bar in the Hotel Saskatchewan supporting the hometown Saskatchewan Roughriders, and we were having almost as much fun as he was. Good dude, represented "Saskie" well. The Warriors win game 4 tonight 4-2, completing the unlikely sweep of the Winterhawks and booked their ticket to the Memorial Cup. Savoie with a goal. The bars in MJ will be hopping tonight

Moose Jaw Warriors continued their clutch play with an OT win tonight over Portland to take a 3-0 series lead. With the next two games in Moose Jaw, they have a great chance to end it at home. Savoie with an assist.

My first thought when I heard this was that heads would be exploding over this on Sabrespace. Of course, the whining is so predictable and lame. Good move by the team to keep him in the organization with a solid chance to take over head coach in a couple years.

Going home up 2-0 - Go Warriors! I don't believe they've ever made it to the Memorial Cup before. Savoie with one apple tonight. They're doing great for a team that only finished third in the eastern conference. You never know once you get in....

Moose Jaw took the first game of the series against the Portland Winterhawks. It looks like our boy Savoie scored the winner with just over three minutes left in the game. https://www.tsn.ca/chl/whl/event/moose-jaw-warriors-portland-winterhawks-20240510/1021125

Prior to the first round flame out, yes of course.

Marner didn't say he thinks they're "gods", he said they're looked on by Leafs fans as gods, which is basically true. The whole thing is the exact thing that happened to The Beatles when John Lennon said they were "bigger than Jesus", which was true with teenagers at the time. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Marner and/or Tavares may be on the block, but not Matthews

Moose Jaw wins it ..... in OT for the sixth time in the series. Good luck in the Dub final against the Winterhawks
-
Huge game 7 between Matt Savoie's Moose Jaw Warriors and the hometown Saskatoon Blades tonight. Winner gets the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL final for the right to go to the Memorial Cup. If game seven goes to OT, it would be 6 of the 7 games in this series, which would be a record (at least as far back as they have stats for this). Go Blades!

Turning the big 6-0 in July

Why work yourself up like this over speculation? You and I have no idea who KA talked to. Nor do I really care either, we got the right man for the job IMO.

Lindholm has not been good since he's been with the Canucks, and the fanbase doesn't have much respect for the way he's played. Maybe things change after tonight.

Huge comeback win by the Canucks with their third string goalie. Has to be demoralizing for the Preds.

Leafs are toast. Hey, we're not the Leafs!

Arizona Coyotes are relocating to Utah as Utah HC (hockey club)

Utah is the leading global producer of beryllium, which is used x-ray equipment. How about the Utah X-Rays? It's as good as anything else they've come up with. -
Well, What Is Your Reaction To Ruff Being Hired. A Poll
Sabres73 replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
The Canucks fanbase are not huge fans of him. Too many dumb penalties for starters. They've warmed to him a bit more this year with the team's success. Honestly, he has been okay at best the last few years, nothing special. -
Serious question - have you ever, I mean ever said anything remotely positive on this forum? Even once? It's tedious having to scroll through your always predictable, always negative posts.

The Canucks weren't very good under Green. Look at 'em now...

Did the Wings make the playoffs with Kane? Is he going to be on their team next year?
