Each of those guys have given up 33 goals in nine games each. It can get a lot worse than Comrie.

Not opposed to sitting Clifton…but I noticed he has five assists in his last five games. His mistakes are glaring, but he’s playing better than the start of the year.

Tomorrow might be a good watch purely from a broadcast perspective. I haven’t seen any games on TV from the tiny arena Arizona plays in, but I have to imagine the main camera will be low and feel very close to the ice.

This would be true for a veteran team. The Sabres aren’t that though. You might say DG isn’t your preference as the coach of this team, but he’s been given the youngest team in the NHL back to back years and no NHL goalie the whole time (other than every fifth game Andy). Yes I realize the Sabres aren’t performing relative to the expectations, but I don’t think it is because the Sabres are too comfortable. I think it’s because they weren’t constructed with enough experience and talent to compete. That falls on the GM.

Agree from a production standpoint. But holy smokes this kid is going to be GOOD. He is a puck hound and he’s good in tight space. In terms of development, he deserves and needs to be here. Sure his bridge deal might be a bit more expensive, but he’s getting better faster by playing here now. I’m excited for him maturing sooner by playing this level of competition!
