That’s how I feel. Something “big” needs to happen to wake these kids up. It’s almost like they aren’t taking their job seriously enough.

When we made that trade with Philly(?) I thought for sure it was for one of those goalies. I really wanted Wallstedt.

We also had over a minute left plus all three timeouts after that called back TD. I’m almost pissed Allen didn’t get to be the hero and win it on a last second TD to Gabe.

My issue with this is the fans are so desperate for a change. So desperate for something big to happen that could turn this season around. And all Adams does is this tiny little move. Almost a slap in the face of the fans.

Go back and read the post man. I said “I’m not saying he’s broken”. And no, not cause he let in a goal in an AHL game. Don’t be silly. It’s because he got his butt handed to him in the NHL. It’s because we threw him to the wolves as a rookie coming out of college. You don’t do that with goalies. Levi is not that special. He should’ve started this year in the AHL. And to be honest, there was a good amount of players who weren’t happy he was just kind of handed the the 1a spot. They felt like he didn’t go out and earn it.

I fully believe the Sabres mishandled Levi. I’m not saying he’s broken, but if he is, it’s Adams fault.

He wanted to be a GM someday. That’s should hopefully be gone now too if this is true.

I think Mitts is more deserving of the 2C spot than Cozens.

But what makes him different from almost every single goalies out there? What makes Adams think Levi can make the jump from college to a full time starter right out of the gate? I’m more of a football guy so excuse this question. But has there ever been a goalies go straight from college to a successful starter right away?

No he is not. Not right now. And I fear we are ruining him by throwing him out to the wolves. i think he will be our best goalie and could be very good. But I think he could be best benefited by spending a year in Rochester. I’m almost every sport you see the important position players “protected”. QB’s rarely get thrown out there. Pitchers too. But goalies almost need more time than either of those guys. The best thing for Levi and the future of the Buffalo Sabres is to send him down for the year.
