Apparently Kane turned down numerous multi year deals. He wanted one year to assess where he was at. Greg Wyshynski of ESPN reports: “This is what Kane wanted. An NHL source told me that Kane had multi-year offers on the table from other teams. But Kane and his representatives wanted a one-year deal and a chance to reevaluate his next steps after this season.”

If this means that I don’t have to watch Cooley play goal for the Amerks then this might be the move of the year.😛

Where is the proof of any of this? Losers on the internet make up rumours and people just blindly believe it.

Going to Detroit to be with his buddy Debrincat. It didn’t make a ton of sense for him to sign here. Sabres are a real mixed bag right now from night to night. With Tage and Quinn coming back I don’t know where he would fit honestly. Detroit is close, his buddy is there, and they have been more consistently competitive this year compared to Buffalo.

We did see it in Sudbury and he led Finland at the WJCs as well. I think he had it, had hip issues, has had a long road to get back and now he is regaining his old form.

Best case scenario is UPL keeps going and settles in as the #1, Comrie is healthy and settles in as the capable backup and Levi goes to Rochester and they give him the net for the remainder of the year.

Despite being short handed defensively they outplayed the Eagles. Unfortunately, as usual, self inflicted wounds get the best of them. The issue is they don’t seem to ever learn from these issues. I don’t know what to think anymore about this team.

The NHL this year is about 4 teams with amazing records and everyone else where you have no idea from game to game how they are going to play.

Did you even watch those years? They were not close to a competent team. Those pieces did not fit and never got close to being a good team. FO and coaching did no favours either but please don’t rewrite history or ignore it and create your own narrative.

Rosen has elite wheels and a great shot. That was known when he was drafted. His ability to grab the puck and go up ice really has stood out. He has really nice chemistry with Kulich, think JJ and Quinn. What has surprised is how well rounded the rest of his game has become. He has good hockey sense and is a nice distributor. He plays hard despite always being a thin guy. I don’t know what he develops into at the NHL level. That is still unknown as he continues to develop. He is a guy that can be used up or down a lineup. I think if he really takes off you are looking at a guy like Jesper Bratt for the Devils. Im pretty sure he is up because of the Girgs injury so probably no other moves have to be made. Is Comrie healthy right now? I think sending Levi down for a spell would be a good move but you have to know that Comrie is good to go.

Rosen OT winner. Kulich 2 more points. At some point these guys are going to force their way up. Benson has made his way on Ryan Johnson has earned his way too. Time to start trimming the fat in the lineup.
