This love of inexperience has buried them. Lack of experience at the GM position, Coaching staff, roster. They have whiffed of free agents, Adams has refused to move off this plan of building from within with all the kids. The coaching staff is made up of first time head coach, coaches from the ECHL, a non coach (Ellis) and a middling D coach.

I would say Adams and Granato are digging their own graves but I see no way Pegula gets rid of Adams. why don’t they just put VO and Comrie on waivers and pray someone takes them. The mismanagement of the roster is eye opening.

Yes, if Benson went then there would be an uproar about them not trying to win because he is one of their best defensive forwards already and gives them a better chance to win. Because he didn’t go it is about not letting him develop in a different environment. Nashville didn’t let Kemell go for Finland and he is playing in the AHL.

The roster is built for it and it’s what brought them success last year. They can’t get out of the blocks trying to play a defensive style and it has neutered the offence. With Quinn back it gives them the right mix. It’s not perfect game style by any means but it is what works best for the roster as built. ENTERTAIN US!!

Everyone wants Granato fired. It’s not about firing Granato it’s about who takes over behind the bench. If it’s Ellis or Appert then nothing is changing so what’s the point. If they actually want to get serious, bring in Gallant and see if that lights a fire under the team. Im just so defeated after 13 years of this I don’t trust them to make any right decisions.
