14 years without the playoffs and no vision or plan of how to fix it. Why would any player want to stay or any player want to come here. Adams is an unqualified moron. If I make a mistake I say I made a mistake and if I have a solution I say hey I have a solution.” WTF solutions has he had for 5 years? If I were Dahlin, Tage, Tuch I would be demanding to talk to Terry and want to know WTF is going on here.

I HOPE Dahlin told Adams this. Nothing seems to get through to these people that 14 years without the playoffs is not acceptable. That not having a plan to improve is not OK. That cheaping out on the Sabres and hoping things improve is not a plan. Id have Tage and Tuch go too with the same message. Power was the right pick at the time of the draft. Putting him with a seasoned vet RHD from day 1 to help him develop is what a component organization does. The GM just admitted Friday that he needs to find a partner for Power🤯

I think McLeod might be my favorite Sabre right now. He does all the little things right and is such an effortless skater

McKenna has played wing. A Marner, Kucherov, Kariya, Juneau elite play making winger

He played wing a lot last year as a 16 year old but went back to centre this season and has exploded. He is a centre but any centre can be moved to wing. I see him as an explosive offensive centre.

He’s a centre. He is a dual threat but his shot is his strength along with his skating.

To get Marner you are looking at $13+ million. He is a UFA and will be the top UFA if he goes to market. He has elite hockey sense. He makes Matthews go. I’d staple him to Tage and watch Tage explode. He is great defensively and on the PK. He would consider Buffalo for the geography he would not consider them for the giant dumpster fire the organization is.

Imagine being the GM of a team that hasn’t made the playoffs in 14 straight years. You have been at the helm for the past 5 years. You were hired from running the arena at the hotel next door with no prior NHL front office e experience. You have fumbled the past 4 years. This year you are bound to make a difference. You bring in your coach without doing a search. You stand in front of the media and proclaim, “No more excuses! This season it is playoffs or bust. I have built a team that will make the playoffs!” Fast forward to March and you are dead last in the conference, your team has more holes than a strainer, there is no compete or hope, the media is tearing the franchise apart on tv and all you have mustered is an angry tirade about palm trees. You will be picking at the top of the draft again. And yet you are probably not worried about job security because you have the stupidest owner who has ever walked God’s green Earth overseeing the franchise. This is an absolutely embarrassing, pathetic situation that Pegula has put this franchise in. These is no hope as long as this absolute clown continues to own this team

Adams never will because he knows he’ll never get another NHL job again. He might not even get the rink manager job back. If Terry keeps Adams then his plan is to wait for the lease to run out and sell the team somewhere. No competent person would keep Adams around. Pegula doesn’t want to spend $$$ but his incompetence has cost him 14 years of playoff money
