  1. I would pay $100 to watch a livestream of Kevyn and Pegula discussing the season and next steps. Just fascinated to hear what they would even say.
  2. โ€œKevyn you announced at the beginning of the year that there were no more excuses. It was playoffs or bust this season. You will be drafting 2nd OA in the draft. Do you feel like this is mission accomplished?โ€
  3. Serious question. I think with the better structure the Amerks might take it.๐Ÿ˜ณ
  4. At what point does Pegula have some f^%ยฃing pride in his name and legacy and say โ€œthis has been an absolute embarrassment for far too long.โ€
  5. An uninspired loss to SJ at home on โ€œBills Nightโ€ sounds just about right for Pegula.
  6. Letโ€™s hope McDermott driving the Zamboni isnโ€™t the highlight of this game
  7. That quote will be in the next season ticket drive letter๐Ÿ˜›
  8. Chicago had Bรฉdard and nothing else. We can piss on Buffalo all we want but there is enough talent on this roster to be playoff contenders with a couple moves. The problem is the front office either wonโ€™t or canโ€™t make the moves to help the team get better. Im not defending that it is a great roster but it isnโ€™t even close to the worst plus the Amerks are first OA in the AHL with a ton of kids playing well. There are pieces here the front office has failed to put them together into a competent team.
  9. Leenders was OHL goalie of the month: โ€œGoaltender of the Month โ€“ Ryerson Leenders (Brantford Bulldogs) Buffalo Sabres prospect Ryerson Leenders of the Brantford Bulldogs has been named the OHL Goaltender of the Month for February, posting an impressive .921 save percentage. Leenders went 9-1-1-0 during the month, making 352 saves and recording four performances with 35+ saves. His standout moment came on February 14, when he made 43 saves in a 10-1 victory over the Niagara IceDogs. Leendersโ€™ strong play was pivotal in keeping the Bulldogs at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, securing their spot in the 2025 OHL Playoffs. Playing his third OHL season, the 18-year-old from Nanticoke, Ont., has compiled a record of 26-12-3-0 with a 3.16 goals-against average and .907 save percentage through 41 games. Originally selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the second round of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, Leenders was traded to Brantford ahead of the 2024-25 season. In 122 career regular-season games with both teams, he holds a 62-44-10-0 record with three shutouts, a 3.23 GAA, and a .901 save percentage. Leenders was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh round of the 2024 NHL Draft (202nd overall).โ€
  10. I think this is a little ridiculous. I would trade our ownership and GM for any other in the league right now though.
  11. The assistant coaches are still employed because they have existing contracts and firing them would mean spending more money on new coaches. But remember: no financial constraints
  12. I know. Iโ€™m just saying breakdowns happen every shift in hockey. Most are overlooked because the goalie makes the save to bail the play out.
  13. โ€œWe Havenโ€™t. done Anythingโ€ should be the Sabres new motto
  14. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6171886/2025/03/04/buffalo-sabres-fan-survey-results-2025/ Exactly what you would expect but maybe having it in print to the public will embarrass Terry enough to do something.
  15. Man as sad as it is to say this is a big game. A loss to the lowly Sharks will set the Sabres up nicely with a top 4 pick. Someone make it stop
  16. I predict he walks in the room, angrily points at a picture of a palm tree in his hand and storms out without uttering a word. ๐Ÿ˜€
  17. He left out the part where Reimer let in a muffin to end the game instead of making the routine save which would have cancelled everything else out.๐Ÿ˜›
  18. I donโ€™t think they will. I think teams are calling so they are listening but they are setting the price so high that other teams will move on to different players.
  19. IF Adams stays how does he even spin this disaster? He stood up last offseason and said it was playoffs or bust this season, time to compete. Imagine if they bring the exact same coaching staff back again because he canโ€™t fire anyone and bring on more $$$. What a clusterf&@k of an organization. The Pittsburgh Pirates and NY Jets of hockey.
  20. Reimer has played pretty well for them this season. Tonight was on him though. They needed a couple saves there that he did not give them. That goal by Tage, just wow. That shot is unstoppable when he gets it off like that.
  21. But you would have to make the decision to postpone it. I have no confidence that Pegula wants to make that decision and can Adams.
  22. The only way I accept another rebuild is if it is a new ownership group with a new FO with seasoned NHL Execs with a history of success in charge.
