Novikov has 3rd pairing big physical defensive dman traits. Neuchev is very young but the kid has star traits to him. If he develops properly he could turn out to be an impact player 3 years from now.

Ryan Reynolds: part of group bidding on Senators
Flashsabre replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Canadian Tire Centre is in Kanata which is outside of downtown. The idea was to build it out there and then everything would be built up around it. That never happened. There is really nothing wrong with the arena other then being in the middle of nowhere. It is not easy for everyone to get to. Lebreton Flats is prime downtown real estate that was put up for bid. The Sens won the bid to develop the land into an arena and entertainment district. That was when Melynyk was still alive. I don’t know if they ever bought the land or just won the bid. -

Ryan Reynolds: part of group bidding on Senators

It’s not just the Sens team. It is the land in downtown Ottawa, Lebreton Flats, that will be transformed into an arena and entertainment district. Edit: After reading the article it states: - they would buy the team and arena. They would bulldoze the arena and develop the area in Kanata. The mayor doesn’t want that area left with nothing. - they would then build a new arena and entertainment district downtown, Lebreton Flats or other area -

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nhl/multiple-flames-players-reportedly-will-leave-if-darryl-sutter-returns/ar-AA1aqVMe?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=a263a10e5a7847ab935f3cf61d5f3d99&ei=6 Apparently ownership doesn’t want to fire Sutter so it will be an interesting summer in Calgary. New GM might have to make a lot of moves there.

A lot of rumours out there that your contract demands are ridiculous. Board might have no choice but to move on if you insist on pricing yourself out of our salary structure.😜

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danschlossberg/2022/10/14/hall-of-fame-closer-bruce-sutter-made-the-most-of-free-agent-pact/amp/ It actually ended at the end of 2022 when he passed. The bottom of the article explains it. Just crazy. “That convinced the Braves to sign him to a six-year, $9.1 million deal with much of the money deferred. Although he gave Atlanta just 40 saves over three injury-riddled seasons, Sutter wound up a big winner. His pact provided $4.8 million in deferred money that would pay 13 per cent interest over a 36-year period. Once it expired in 1990, Sutter started receiving an annual stipend of $1.3 million per year, pushing its total value to almost $50 million, making it one of the biggest in baseball at the time.”

Ullmark , hate to see it. Thoughts and prayers😀

Sabres are never allowed to have another Perrault😛 He is an interesting case. The viewings back up the article. Not big, average skater but exceptional hockey IQ. One thing i worry about is he had an amazing season on that line but when you go back over previous years he didn’t put up dominating numbers. Good numbers but nothing like this year. So is he a product of the line, did he just put it altogether? Him going to BC with the same line mates will make it tough to know. Talented kid for sure but tough to gauge where he ends up at the NHL level.

Disagree. Stillman played solid in Buffalo’s system. He is a bottom pairing dman and like you said might be depth on a good d core. But he brought value to the Sabres. He played physically and was not a liability at all. He brought a much needed different element then Bryson or Clague.

I watched him in Oshawa against the Generals and came away not worried about the trade at all.

They hired the coach of the University team out there. It was a highly unusual move.

Tampa are spent. 3 trips to the Finals and injuries have caught up to them.

Kamloops plays Seattle which will be a battle of the titans. The winner plays the Winner of the Winnipeg-Red Deer/Saskatoon Series. Kamloops hosts the Memorial Cup this year. It means that if Kamloops makes it to the WHL finals then whoever plays them gets into the Memorial Cup as well. So If Kamloops beats Seattle and Winnipeg wins and faces them then both teams are in regardless of the final series. If Seattle wins and plays Winnipeg then the winner of that series is in along with Kamloops. Hopefully Savoie makes it to the Memorial Cup as it would be great for his development.

Probably by going to the front lines in Ukraine

To me Musty is the real wildcard for the Sabres. The hometown kid who played in the Jr Sabres system and who is a big, highly skilled winger. Does adding another potential Tuch draw Adams and the team towards drafting him. I think 13 is too high but do they trade back to later teens early 20s to get him and pick up another pick. He has as much upside as any of the 2nd tier forwards. I have no knowledge of what they think of him but it is an intriguing storyline. The more I watch Sweden the more I like Wallinder’s game. Mobile dman that plays hard in all zones. Would be a great 2nd round pick if there.

Yawn, Same ***** temper tantrum as a few others “Wah he didn’t say the exact words in the presser that I wanted to hear.” If YOU had listened to the press conference carefully you would have heard that winning the Cup is the main goal. And the Bills have been a disaster in the playoffs. The fact they have fallen on their face repeatedly and Diggs is fed up with it really doesn’t work in your favour. Adams laid out his plan. He is not sacrificing long term success for short term gains. People don’t have to agree with it but he is sticking to it. The biggest problem is that Adams is doing a proper rebuild but it is coming in the midst of a 12 year run of futility. The 12 years are not on him but he is doing it the right way even as fans are upset and impatient.

There is an entire thread dedicated to debunking this

Your whole narrative is ridiculous “He is afraid” Afraid of what? He has told us the plan for 3 years. If you can’t understand it or don’t want to listen that is on you. He hasn’t said once that there won’t be changes. I guess going after Chychrun was not about change or improving. I guess signing Jost was no changes. I guess Greenway and Stillman were no changes. I guess signing Levi was no changes. If you honestly think at an end of season presser that the GM is going to lay out an elaborate plan for next season then that is on you. It has never been that way.

Yeah it Brown died off after a while but Wood is like a cockroach his name just keeps popping up.
