WInnipeg took their frustrations out on Brandon tonight with a 8-3 win. Savoie with 2 more points. And that Bedard kid had 4 more points in his game.

Sabres trade for Defenseman Riley Stillman in exchange for Josh Bloom
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
He adds an element back there. Him and Boosh could be a solid, physical 3rd pair. as a 6-7 he could be a nice piece here. I think upgrading Joker on the 2nd pair Is the biggest necessity to push the backend forward. -
It’s amazing that each of the 3 goalies seems to have a good game and then a brutal game. Granato has to cobble this 3 headed monster together to try to get enough good goalie starts to make the playoffs. As others have mentioned, their team defence and PKing need to improve to make the goalies job easier.

At an even younger age.

I think it comes down to Armstrong being an idiot. Sens and Sabres are close in the standings and rebuilds. The draft picks would have similar value from each team. Demanding Savoie and/or Kulich from us and then accepting that package from the Sens sounds like a GM that painted himself in a corner. Other teams are pissed because they feel they offered better packages. I’m sure Adams package was the same or better then Dorian’s but Armstrong was probably pisssd at Adams for not giving up the top prospects, let emotion get in the way and took a lesser deal out of spite. The Sens said they were shocked their offer got it done.

Not an Atlantic team but NJ is going to be a powerhouse for a long time. They have Hughes and Nemec on the way too.

This is what the analytics departments are for. They probably see the same in both Greenway and Stillman. Guys the worked far better in one system (which is closer to ours) and struggled in another system. Granato’s connection with Greenway played a big part but I’m sure Ventura and co. Saw upside in both players if they were used in our system. Time will tell.

Not bad company. Yaremchuk was one of the fastest players to ever play. He just couldn’t figure out how to use his speed at the NHL level to be an impact player. Brendl is one of the biggest draft busts ever. He was so dominant for the Calgary Hitmen but didn’t have the drive to be a superstar at the NHL level. Leach and Modano were stars. Brown looked like he would be one riding shotgun to Mario but his career fizzled out. I mentioned earlier, what makes Bedard so impressive is that he is literally carrying his team. There isn’t a ton there in Regina to work with. He just goes out and dominates when every team’s entire game plan is to ***** him down.

Erik Portillo traded to the Kings for a 2023 3rd Round Pick

I liked Adams jab about wanting players that want to compete to become NHL players. -
ENG Bedard, 4g,1a against best team in juniors. Kid is unreal. When Savoie decides to turn on the Jets my can he just fly. Good at the dot too.

ICE-Pats ties 3-3 after 2. Savoie 1g. 1a Benson 2 assists. Regina has this kid named Bedard. He’s not bad. 2 goals and an assist tonight. Someone might take a flyer on him at the draft.😛 What makes Bedard so remarkable is he doesn’t have much help. Kid is special. Really like Savoie’s game. So dynamic and is always on pucks. Benson is a very talented kid. Will be a good one. Crazy thing is Winnipeg is on a two and a half week road trip. 10 games on the trip. Just nuts.

When the Ducks grabbed Klingberg they were probably thinking of flipping him for Atleast a 1st at the deadline. Not so much.

This kid is going to be a player

Are you telling me watching grown men having absolute man baby meltdowns over not trading for mediocre hockey players isn’t on your bucket list today?😀

We need to stop this narrative that top prospects are going in trade packages. This just isn’t happening. 1st round picks are flying around but not blue chip prospects. NJ didn’t have to touch Hughes or Nemec to get Meier. Chychrun went for straight picks.

They had to sign Pasta. Bergeron And Krecji are on their way out and Marchand is almost 34. Pasta and McAvoy are their building blocks. It will be interesting to see what Pasta does when the top 2 centres leave.

First Place!!!!😜

Definitely not worth the first the Jets used on him but as a 6-7th dman experiment I would buy low on him. He brings a different element.
