Peterka named top forward in the entire tournament and to the allstar team. Wow
-
Krebs- 2 assists Quinn- assist JJ-goal
-
Canada up 4-2 now in the 3rd
-
Yep and he is a natural leader that guys like being around. If Krebs, Quinn And JJ can all take steps next season then look out
-
Krebs has been great this tournament. He helps you win in so many different ways.

If Boston has to move Ullmark I think he would be a much more economical acquisition than Hellebuyck. You would have him for 2 more years at $5 million. Perfect timeline for Levi to develop. I donât think him leaving before would be a big deal. Last year was a special year for him but his overall career he hovers around a .917 sv% which would be a big upgrade for Buffalo. Ullmark/Levi for 2 years would put them in the playoffs. I would go after Tanev to play with Power. He has one year left and Conroy says they want to get younger. I would move Olofsson and UPL for picks and then use those picks as part of packages for Ullmark and Tanev. If Tanev has more then one year then I would move Joker for him but for a one year rental I wouldnât. Maybe if Tanev agrees to an extension before hand.

Sabres announce Ryan Johnson signs 2 year ELC (Finally)

You try making a video package of him using his skating to angle an attacker to the boards or using his stick to break up a cross zone pass.đ -
Adams is on a signing heater. His next move will be signing DeAndre Hopkins and loaning him to the Bills for next season.đ

Peterka vs Quinn, Krebs, Levi Bring it on!

You should always target BPA in the first round. They will probably add a couple more D in other rounds but they can choose who they feel is the best fit at #13 without reaching or use the pick to acquire a quality player. Metsa was a good pickup. I can see him signed to an NHL deal in the next year. Johnson, Lindgren, Novikov, Komarov, Metsa is a D pipeline. Add a couple more this draft and it is starting to round into form. -
Earlier in the season I said Krebs was one of the best passers on the team and got a lot of blowback from some people. Glad to see his skills are being recognized. He is a real heart and soul leader type. Rousek is a very good playmaker too. Nice to see playmakers like Mitts, Krebs, Savoie, Rousek to offset the scorers they have accumulated.

Johnson hasnât played since the Frozen Four so he wonât be inserted in the lineup. Savoie came straight from the WHL Finals so he had been playing the whole time. I would love to see a Johnson-Metsa pairing at some pointđ Im happy about this announcement. Kid is a great skater and plays a really smart defensive game. You have to think he has a chance to take that 3rd LHD spot in Buffalo. Good Job Adams. Nice week (Johnson, Komarov, Novikov,Okposo) -
I keep saying people are sleeping on Krebs. Heâs going to have a big breakout next season.

Wait he will report to the Amerks now? Could he play playoff games? -
Komarov and Lindgren made a great pair at development camp and the prospects tournament. A lot to like about his game. His feet are a little heavy but he has improved his skating this year. Reminds me a lot of Boosh and thatâs a good thing. The Sabres past couple drafts are looking Ike a big step up in finding quality depth in later rounds. I think it is a combination of analytics and Adams letting all the scouts being heard.
-
Well Adams is on a signing spree right now (Novikov, Komarov, Okposo)so who knows.

The other things that have hurt Canadian goaltending is the ridiculous move to height bias. How many good young goalies stopped playing when they realized they wouldnât get looked at because they werenât over 6â2. Now with Saros, Sorokin, Shesterkin, Levi, Wolf, Thomas Milic, Daniel Hauser we are seeing a trend towards top goaltenders being closer to that 6 foot range again. Also, Canadian teams have used the 2 goalie system in all their development leagues and goalies arenât getting the reps they used to.

#13, 2nd round pick, UPL for Hellebuyck, #18 would be the type of deal I would go for but I doubt Winnipeg does.

I like the idea of adding him for Game 2. Amerks stuck it to Hershey in Game 1. The Bears will adjust and come back hard tonight. Inserting Savoie gives them something new to worry about tonight. Game 3 in Rochester is something new for Hershey to deal with as it is. This is a good spot to drop him in the lineup.
-
1) Yes, slow down on Kulich, Rosen and Savoie. Let them marinate 2) I would seriously re evaluate your âtrackingâ system. If you are watching Rosen in these playoffs and donât see a future impact player then I really donât know what you are watching or how you are evaluating. I donât want him moved at all this summer. I think he explodes in Rochester next year.
-
Amerks have been going 11 forwards/7 dmen. Could be as simple as adding Savoie and going with 6 dmen tonight. Yea it is a good move. Talent is talent.
-
Awesome! Hershey had trouble handling the Amerks speed and transition game so letâs add another log on the fire.
