A Swedish article says that Noah Östlund is flying to Rochester to practice with the team. If they win game 5 and move on there is a chance he could play in the playoffs.

Novikov is a Muel type dman. Big LHD that plays physically and excels in his own zone. Has played over a year in the KHL as a teenager which is very impressive.

One of the biggest upsets ever. Over 40 point difference in the teams. Boston’s goaltending let them down this series. Bergeron definitely looked like a guy who is done at the end there. Probably Krejci too. It will be a new reality for Boston next year.

This is a great point. That group was not capable of being leaders. Breaking them up and putting them on teams with established leadership has allowed them to play their games and be successful. The young leadership here will lead to success in the near future.

Anytime I see someone mention a player they like for this draft on any Sabres site the automatic response is “he will be long gone by the Sabres selection” By my calculations 27 players will be selected in the first 12 picks of the draft.😀 They will have their choice of about half a dozen very talented forwards at their pick. Whether ASP or Reinbacher will be there is unknown. I have a feeling one of them will be but will the Sabres see them as the best player available will be the key. There seem to be a good group of dmen that will go late first into the second round.
