I'm not a gambler but if you are a money line bet on a rags win is just about the safest bet it is possible to make. I doubt this team wins more than 5 the rest of the season, they are beyond cooked.

Hockey executives and scouts are the dumbest and most incompetent in all of pro sports. They lack progressive thought the way Dracula lacks a suntan.

Here's some perspective: If the team goes 5-13 to close out the season (a very real possibility looking at the schedule) we would finish the season with a whopping 3 more points than the previous season.

What would happen to the Oilers if Drai broke his foot and McJesus was so hurt he wasn't anywhere near 100%? That's essentially where we are at today. As I said in the last GameDay thread Dahlin was clearly in a lot of pain and moving very slow and gingerly. One time when he was sent to the box live you could see he was struggling to skate over he was hurting so bad.

At the game live you could see Dahlin in visible pain throughout the night. They hit the wall big time in the second period and even with as ridiculous as the winning goal was the Isles clearly deserved the two points.
