NHL refs just suck ass.

The camerawork and in game direction is just awful and botched the goal far worse than Dunleavy.

I think the funniest thing is that it was so believable it got a community note.

Now this is just mere speculation on my part but if I had to guess who was responsible for the half eaten corpse I'd go with lions.

The only move that will lead to the team becoming good is firing Donny and his entire staff and replacing them with actual NHL quality coaches. There's a reason the vast majority of college coaches who go to the pros fail spectacularly: they are two totally different things. College=Development, Pros=Winning.

Donny and his staff are the absolute worst coaches in the entire sport and there's ZERO chance any of them will be fired. There is absolutely no chance this team makes the playoffs next season.

Would love to hear any argument why Donny and his entire staff shouldn't all be fired the season ends.

Why has nobody to my knowledge asked Donny why the team was so completely unprepared coming into the season?

And then said you can't be like Torts these days and succeed. Which is odd given that he has a team everyone had pegged as bottom 5 with a dreadful roster and losing his starting goalie to the OPHL (Ontario Prison Hockey League) in a playoff place.

It's not completely out of the realm of possibility that this team won't win another game this season. I think they win 4 more at best. A serious organization fires the entire coaching staff the second the season ends. Too bad we have the worst most incompetent owner in all of pro sports except that scumsucking lowlife who owns the A's so nothing will change.

Apparently there's a bug going through the Toronto locker room and a bunch of guys are sick. They were clearly not giving their best effort and if they played like that against almost any other team they lose handidly.

This team is hiring an actual NHL quality coaching staff away from becoming a contender.

Yes, clearly nothing happened earlier that led to Granato losing it like Benson taking a textbook wrestling suplex and somehow getting called for holding. And it wasn't like the penalty called on Benson (who apparently must be the single dirtiest player in hockey history with the way he gets penalties every single game) wasn't the direct result of Montour tripping him or anything.
