Ok. It’s terminology. I just don’t consider the sharks light years. Especially when looking at short term things like 20 points ahead at this particular snapshot in time. Looking at their overall record this year last year and the year before. I just don’t view them as the term “light years” ahead in rebuilding. I guess I would just use that term a little more conservatively then you like to. Agree to disagree… all good 👍🏼

No no not physically. Just production wise I can see him in the same neighborhood as Sammy.

I would agree with that. Points/production wise … My expectations would be like Reinhart. A 55-65 points per year player. Not a very physical player. But not shy to lay the body once in a while like Okposo.

Which is why the shortsighted anti-Sam people aren’t saying much (that carries any logical significance). All they have is one off quips that hold no weight in the long term. The team is not consistent… Because they lack the talent to be consistent at this point. The Sabres need to upgrade in a few key areas. Upgrade = more talented players

Is it ok to not like a player in any sport … for what they do or don’t do off the field/rink/court/playing surface? who the F cares if someone doesn’t agree with the reasons why you don’t like a player. Yes there are a few reasons why the arena isn’t full. Even if some want to say it’s only only only … because they suck this season. I talk to several season ticket holders. And I am one myself. It’s just not true that it’s only their record that keeps the arena mostly empty.
