They may not get the chance, losing 2-1 to the Vodka Distillers.

Freaky, that's Matthews with long hair. Has that same pig nose thing going on. As for Dalton, I think it's his fire orange hair that makes his face so punchable.
-
No one in Chicago does, all 20,000 fans cheer throughout the entire anthem. If NBCSN shows the anthem you will see/hear it tomorrow night. Not quite as punchable as Andy Dalton though.

That was Kenny Albert. At one point when talking about Bailey's father he said he went to 3 straight superbowls with the Buffalo Sabres. He was all over the place last night. -
What are your unpopular hockey opinions?

Get rid of the instigator rule, let the players police themselves. Linesman break up too many would be fights, let the players police themselves. -
Sweet '16 Final: Eichel (OT) vs. Eichel (top shelf)
Claude Balls replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
Had to go with the OT goal, mainly because I was there in person amd it was amazing. I was the first person in our section to stand up when I saw Jack getting into open ice as Kane was about to flip the puck up to him. And after he scored, the good looking woman sitting to my right whom I never met before, attacked me in a good way. What a great day. -

Interesting side note on Toronto. They have won 6 of their last 8 games, 4 in OT/SO. And 7 of their last 10 games have gone into OT, the last 4 in a row. Wonder how much longer the young guys can keep up with the NHL grind going into OT more often than not. If they do make the playoffs, they are gonna be shot. -

The Sabres are an enigma.....just who are they? And as Rickshaw mentioned, Anders should get the start in Chi-town. Ride the hot hand Disco!!! -

Uh oh, a first period 2 goal lead. Rangers have them right where they want them. -

Wonder if DB will have the boys back off now that they have a lead. -
Nah, I would say his noodle arm explains his "noodle arm".

Yes

You forgot to mention that the Bills were also the first team in NFL history to hire a female assistant to their coaching staff.

Not sure what to think about this game tonight. Sabres haven't shown anything lately to make me think they can compete. I feel dirty saying this, but I almost want to see them get blown out the next few games just to speed up the axing of DB. -
Problem is, with the defense he has in front of him and the lack of scoring by the offense, he has not been good enough to bail this team out. If the Sabres bolster the defense and start to put the puck in the net, Lehner will win more than he loses. Elite goalies can cover up a lot of holes on a team. So until Murray beefs up the defense and brings in a coach that knows how to utilize a young and talented team, I don't see much changing and Lehner is gonna look worse than he is because of it. I just wonder how many more games before Lehner snaps and throttles someone.

Just watched some incredible hockey between Det/Tor. I forgot what good hockey looked like. When will the Sabres ever catch a break? McDavid tied for the league lead in pts and Matthews already has 20 goals less than halfway through the season. I'm sure the Sabres will win the lottery this year because the draft isn't nearly as strong as the past two. I really hope DD was watching the game so he could see how to utilize young talent. He has no clue how to coach.

Dumpster. Fire.

Hard to tell, he hasn't been healthy yet this year. Would like to see him play 20-25 games without getting injured.

That and I'd like to see more players get pissed off like Jack after playing like schitt night after night. -
Me too. He is one big f'n power forward. 6'5", 230 lbs. And he's from just around the corner - Canton, NY. Unfortunately, I don't think Minnesota is letting him go anywhere.
