  1. I sure hope it wasn’t Sabres fans booing.
  2. Puck drop is at 8:20. Must have the preliminary spectacle before every game. I wonder if the players hate the long delay to get started after the pre-game skate.
  3. I'm sure Hallmark is all over it. The greeting card company, not the television station. But, maybe the television station too?
  4. You put a lot of work into that. Greatly appreciate you for doing so.
  5. A-Ron is allegedly done in NY. Jets will be looking for (yet) another QB.
  6. Were the flaws in Cozens’ game there two years ago but masked (or perhaps ignored) by the 30 goals he scored?
  7. I agree with your premise about expectations in general Punch. But last night taken in isolation I expected a young Sabres team to beat a bunch of 30-something’s playing on a back to back. But as often the case the Sabres beat themselves last night. I guess old legs and wise brains are better than young brains and legs. Someone pass along the memo to KA.
  8. What would help is the rest of the AFCE having another down year AND the Broncos and Chargers ascend. And, of course, the Chiefs not playing another season with a horseshoe stuck up its ass
  9. I was in Sabres hibernation around that time. Z made the all-star game? How? Was it one of those deals where there had to be a representative from the Sabres and he was it? (Tallest midget, if you’ll excuse me phrase).
  10. Regarding pulling the goalie, my wife asked me last night ‘Why do they keep doing that? It never works’. A team that is bad with the man advantage and awful at possessing the puck. In a more congested O-zone. What can go wrong?
  11. Can’t do the strike thru on my phone. I’m sure you meant to type ‘year’.
  12. The Sabres have me to the point where I look at a game like this and expect it to be a ‘get right’ game for Nashville.
  13. Yep. Let him, and the team, determine where his development stands.
  14. I think it was a couple things. Partly because the Bills started getting good again. And partly, I believe, because another Bills board shut down and the posters migrated over to TBD (Scott can possibly verify that). Used to read the board a lot but never posted and I recall things going a bit 'south' all at once. This (on SabreSpace) is a welcomed alternative to chat about the Bills. Let's face it, the Venn diagram of Sabres and Bills fans has a huge overlap.
  15. He was not. A pretty big tell on the pending outcome. And I realize the winner is not revealed until awarded (sure 🙄) Congrats JA17. Well earned. Pretty much carried that team all year.
  16. Who is she? (Certainly not complaining).
  17. I'm seeing the game will be broadcast on NHL Network. Can anyone confirm? If so, it won't be on ESPN+. (And, like me, SOL if you don't get NHL Network).
  18. Attending a funeral.
  19. Is the any part of your (no one in particular) imagination where you can see the Sabres involved in a line brawl? Good on the Amerks.
  20. I've gone through all of the analytics and have found the key indicator for the game Sunday. If we see a camera shot of Tay Tay five times or fewer during the game the Bills win. (as do the fans, BTW).
  21. Because they still need to justify picking the Ravens but it was the Ravens fault they were wrong.
  22. A medium-grade concern of mine is if Rapp can't go and Bishop takes his place. I view Rapp as an average safety and certainly not irreplaceable. But Andy Reid does to rookie safeties what McD does to rookie QB's.
  23. I’m curious how folks would feel about the Bills chances if Henry goes for 112 yards on 23 carries tomorrow. Would you think the Bills did a credible job in run D? Those aren’t random numbers. It’s what Henry did week 4 excluding the awful double-blown assignment run when Henry went 73 yards untouched. And the Bills were without 2 starting linebackers, Taron, and a starting safety all game and the other safety most of the game. There are many ‘experts’ looking at that previous game and using it as the basis for tomorrow’s game. Apples and oranges.
  24. As an add on, I recall the Bills had a prolific offense during that OJ period ('73-'75?) but couldn't stop anyone. One (?) year the Bills missed the playoffs and I looked at the game by game scores at season's end. Had the Bills given up exactly 30 points every game they would have made the playoffs. Crazy but they were entertaining to watch for sure.
