  1. Defense shows up and the offense goes haywire. This 2nd half opening drive will be huge. Get some momentum.
  2. I can’t stop laughing about your reply @Eleven. Perfect! Well done.
  3. The best Josh Allen interview so far. IMHO. Insight into the player and the man.
  4. Exactly. Who? And for how much? Assets(via trade) and/or $$ ( via FA).
  5. I suggest a contest. Make PH pronounce the word acetaminophen.
  6. Even for a neutral NFL fan this must be a fun team to watch and an easy team to root for.
  7. Nope. No apologies nor illusions. As long as the Bills can keep winning games while sorting out their issues along the way. Like every year, it seems, its a matter of which team is healthiest and playing their best football from Thanksgiving on. Kinda feels like this is McD's modus operandi so far.
  8. Somewhere, Connor McDavid and his agent are smiling.
  9. Better, actually, if you look at the net yards numbers our actual punter is posting.
  10. Totally agree here @JohnC. And my greater fear (as has been mentioned by others previously) is the collateral damage that will be done if Tuch isn't signed and he walks or is moved at the deadline. It will pale in comparison (beyond 25-26) to losing the skills and production of the player himself. What players would want to stay here, re-sign here, or want to accept a trade to come here? If KA thinks this is hard now .... Is the start of the season next week an unofficial deadline?
  11. I agree. He will develop and its only a matter of time before the O-line is upgraded and they get him a couple weapons. And boy does it pain me to type that.
  12. Last week I was mildly chastised for posting that the Bills would never win a SB with this defense. I want to retract that statement because Josh and the offense can outscore any other team in the league. As Taro points out they might be the only team that can put up 31 points and look mediocre doing it. If they win one it would be in spite of the defense, not because of it. What we’ve seen from the defense isn’t just a one game issue or a four game issue. It’s been a five year issue. Same problems even with the resources they’ve been throwing at it. Hell, an 0-3 Saints team just ran for almost 200 yards today. I’m not sure if it’s scheme, execution or personnel … or all of the above. I hope with some guys getting back it can make a difference. Time on task may help too. The Bills have the luxury of an extended seven game ‘preseason’ schedule (save the opener) to right the ship. I really hope they can. I want to go home for a parade and I sure can’t count on the Sabres.
  13. Were there message boards at that time? If so, that must have been fun.
  14. I’ll be curious to see if the BJ’s play with the same physicality that their prospects showed. Is it an organizational thing? And if so, will the Sabres match?
  15. This team will never win a Super Bowl with this defense. As for tonight, they’re letting a far inferior team hang around. That often will come back to bite you in the ass.
  16. That, and teams had figured out pretty quickly to clog things up, take away Tua's first read, and he's screwed.
  17. Big Ed will be out a couple weeks at least. The only guy on D who showed up last Sunday. Ankle injury. Got stepped on in Wednesday’s practice. JFC.
  18. Anyone have any idea which staffer gets chosen to explain to Tyler Bass who Wally Pipp was?
  19. The 'Battered Bills Fan' in me was glad that Coleman got tripped up at the end. The Bills would have had to make the 2-point conversion then kick off to the Ravens putting the ball back in Lamar's hands with however many seconds remained and all (?) their timeouts. Feels like we've been down that road before and it didn't end well.
  20. This is an understated comment. I was considering the Ravens/Chiefs/Bills* division schedules yesterday. The Ravens play four games against the Steelers and Bengals. The Chiefs four games against the Chargers and Broncos. The Bills four games against (pick two) Pats/Jets/Fins. Advantage: Buffalo. Last night's win is obviously huge if playoff seeding comes down to head-to-head and/or conference record. *The supposition is that these are the three best AFC teams. But the NFL is weird.
  21. Jesus, those perforated panels. The Bills should do a naming rights deal with Williams-Sonoma and refer to the stadium as ‘The Big Colander’.
  22. They sure tried at the end of the first half though, didn’t they?
  23. Just be sure to elevate Gabe for the KC game and have the Chiefs suffer from PTSD.
  24. I think its a good move. If (WR) injuries happen later in the year you've got a guy to plug in with 4 years experience working with Josh.
  25. If I understood correctly what I just read, the NHL has closed the LTIR salary cap circumvention for the playoffs starting this coming season. Teams must be salary cap compliant throughout the playoffs. Curious if the Golden Nights Stanley Cup odds just took a beating.
