  1. So @Contempt had it in the right order. The way I originally listed them (helping hint) best to worst. +3, +2, +1, and -1.
  2. Wrapping things at work up before the holiday weekend so I thought I'd start my first thread. I realize +/- is a maligned metric as to its usefulness but its simple. So, without looking, rank the following Sabres in +/- best to worst, through last night's game. The candidates: E Johnson, VO, Clifton, Power. I'll post the numbers later this evening but go ahead and peek after if you're curious. Surprising fact: only one of the four are minus on the season to date.
  3. Me too. And I remember thinking we had just seen the team's ceiling with TT at QB and Greg Roman as OC - which never was going to be near good enough.
  4. It has been said that the NHL is an 80% league during the regular season. Benson seems to be a 105% player. I am concerned he will hit a wall around game 60 and find out why everyone else is at 80%. Should I not be worried?
  5. Amerks live in Springfield (ROC score 43 seconds in). Home in time for the Sabres at 10. Good night of hockey!
  6. Went into our local package store a couple months ago and saw a stack of 30-can cartons of Genny Cream Ale (yes, 'Screamers'). Seeing that in MA is like seeing a polar bear in Florida. Bought a carton on general principle.
  7. Agree on Johnson (the younger one). If he's not going to be in the lineup send him down so he can play every game. Obviously he goes on a western road trip if he's the 7th D-man but the team has been in Buffalo (an hour away?) since Thursday night.
  8. JFC. The guy is hurt in the morning skate? I like Muel but this is ridiculous.
  9. Good. (Selfishly). I'll get to watch both Rosen and Kulich in the Amerks lineup Wednesday night. A week ago I thought I might get to see Levi also. But alas ....
  10. I think from above Frank Wycheck was determined not to lose claim to the 'greatest lateral by a TE in the history of football'. Sorry @Punch. Just got to your subsequent post. 🤐
  11. The line judge could not see the ball because Toney was blocking his line of sight.
  12. McD's reaction when that 4th down pass fell incomplete was reminiscent of OJ's reaction when Judge Ito announced 'Not Guilty'. Seriously. He knew what was coming if the Bills blew that lead in KC.
  13. Thanks @Scottysabres. creative way to bypass the naughty word filter. I’ll give it a try going forward! 👍
  14. He was pi**ed about the offsides on the offense call. It’s hard to adjust when calls almost always go your way.
  15. As is the number of times we have to see her on the broadcast.
  16. Run the ball once and get to the 2 minute warning. Effectively gave KC their timeout back. Awful play calling and clock management.
  17. Buffalo Bills Second Half Football. Defense melts down. Offense melts down. Special teams melt down.
  18. That used to be our 'RJ Drinking Game'. Every time he uttered that phrase we had to do a shot. As you might imagine, it was for Friday and Saturday night games only.
  19. Unsurprising. Its been a problem for quite a long while with this team. Don't pass the puck well. Give up possession of the puck. Can't score without the puck. (My uneducated hockey view of one of the many core problems the Sabres have).
  20. This is interesting. For the most of DG's tenure I found his pressers to be direct and to the point. Now? Not so much. 'Word salad' is the product of having no answers. That's scary. He's the Head Coach.
