How can you be 12-2? There haven't been 14 games yet.

Resemblance to the 2005-2006 Team coming out of the lockout?

Interesting video. I assumed he was a Sabres fan because of the topic and his clothing, but at the end he said that he is always asked what teams he roots for and Buffalo is middle of the road. He doesn't love or hate them. So I assume he wears whatever jersey of team he is talking about? I noticed he had some more jerseys from different teams in the background. -
Pretty easy to see that goaltending is much improved. The new faces on defense are also contributing. Plus, having a good offense improves the defense (and vice versa). = More wins

I think I joined before the winning streak. So that makes me an old timer, right?

That was a stupendous goal. So exciting.

Never tasted coffee before. Smells gross though.

People seem to forget that these new coaches come with a multi-year plan and that the Pegulas know and have signed off on the plan. Both the Bills and the Sabres are on schedule, I think (the Bills making the playoffs last year was just a bonus).

Yes, he did wait a little too long a few times. Sometimes you just have to take the shot. You're not always going to get the perfect play or perfect angle.

This is a tremendous reach.

His value has been pretty well established in his time with Buffalo. He's been an elite running back and is the only legitimate offensive weapon the team has. He's also a captain. I get the people who want to plan for the future, but a 4th or 5th round pick is not going to make or break this franchise. You might as well keep the elite player.

My issue with trading McCoy is that the return for a 30 year old running back is sure to be lackluster. I would do it for a 2nd round pick (and then hopefully we IMMEDIATELY use that pick to trade for a WR), but I doubt we'll even get a 3rd for him. If we are talking about a 4th or 5th round pick, clearly his value is greater to the team if he stays.

If that is the culture of the NHL, that needs to change. Winning should always be the highest priority, regardless of what players you are using.
