Whether or not Dell complains is irrelevant. Sam entered the crease, his leg hooks on to the pad for a second or 2 there, impeding the movement of the goalie in the crease. No goal, good call.
We want consistency, then that's not a goal due to goalie interference. Stay out of the crease.
Yea, decent period. But it's the same story it has been for 5/6 years now, no finish, inability to capitalize.....in short, they have NO SNIPERS.
Like I said, different season, same result.
Read a Swedish article where both Olofsson and Asplund plan on being in NA next season. I think it was a speculative article, maybe MODO can fill us in.The article was back in September? I think.
The length of that albatross of a contract I'm sure factored in to this decision. Yes they pay for a couple of years, but 2019, 2020 and 2021 they free up a ton of cap space.
Combine that with the "character" issues with Dareus and clearly this move was forward thinking addition by subtraction
And lets be completely honest about it, Dareus production has turned in to a regressive state over the last 2 1/2 seasons. This was a good move by Bean.
The season is still very early.
It is very concerning however that he is not contributing offensively at all.
I'd move him to re-unite Duchene with O'Reilly. That's about the only deal I see worthy.
I thought it was a mixed bag. Some of what you pointed out, but also, when they did have some control, to much perimeter passing with no movement to the slot so the coverage would contract. But regardless of what we each see, we all see the results, and they are not impressive.
Bogo has shown brief flashes of what he could be. He's also shown a steady dose of YIKES!!!!!
I love him when he's "IN THE ZONE", which doesn't happen but once or twice a blue moon. When he does return, I expect him to be Laser focused. If he's not, ship'em out.
Haha :D
I love this kids game. He's got hands, cycles good up high and I more than notices his quickness to jump to the slot last game. He had several times where he was open as he glided in to the slot where his team mates did not feed him for various reasons. And he wasn't caught on it because of the teams play. But I did notice it and I'm sure its going to pay off once the team does to.
Alrighty ladies and gentlemen, I'm pumped about this team coming together. I have a GOOD feeling about tonight. I think ROR, Eichel, Reinhart and Bailey are going to have a great game, but I believe Antipin will be the star tonight.
GO SABRES!!!
