It's not that I wouldn't laugh given the Bills past arrest scenarios with naked players, but this kid needs real help. If it's drugs, or otherwise, just get him help.
I disagree. The price they paid, thread 2nds, a 3rd and the 6OA was an incredibly steep price for 3 slots. Yes they may get their franchise QB, but that player may be rendered ineffective for 2 to 4 years.
Rudolph I completely agree with. And he is a decent grab at 12, better than Jackson in my opinion.
But the key will be those 6 draft picks in the first 3 rounds. Buffalo could stack some talent on the O-line and the LB/secondary.
To bad of they can't get any higher. But they do have enough draft picks in the first 3 rounds to get some stacked talent on both the O line and LB/secondary positions on D. The team should come out of this draft significantly stronger.
San Jose Sharks win the cup, giving Buffalo a 2019 1st rd pick.
Buffalo wins the draft lottery, select Dahlin
San Jose Sharks take the last western conference wild card spot in 2019, but are defeated in first rd of playoffs giving Buffalo pick #16 OA in 2019 draft
2019 conditional 1stCoditions are sharks win the cup or re-sign Kane. If neither happens 2019 2nd
2019 4th rd pick
Condition is sharks could choose to keep it making it a 2020 3rd rd pick.
Presumabely if they see someone they like come draft time.
And of course, putting the band back together from Eichel's BU days. O'Regan. I think many here are surprised by Rodriguez, let's hope the same for this one.
For those that are in riot mode over the return, it would be wise to remember that JBots has an enormous task ahead of him. And while this appears to be a failure, the responsibility for it being so rests with Tim "0 given" Murray and Evander Kane himself.
We are now moving on from one of the franchises larger mistakes. Lets look forward to better days ahead.
Package deals, I do not believe Botterill is in a bad position here. There is an overwhelming arms race in the Eastern Conference. He will do just fine I suspect.
Penguins already gave their 2018 1st rdr, I don't see them giving 19 and beyond right now given they have armed up already.
Kane and Lehner both 50% retained, Girgensons to Philly
for
St. Louis 1st rdr 2018, Philadelphia 2nd rdr 2018, Arizona 5th rdr 2018, Lehtera, Neuvrith, Read, Sanheim, Ratcliffe
My first thought as well lolPhilly has 2 1st rdrs, they have an LHD and RHD prospect to covet. They have some movable cap as well. Lehner and Kane make sense for them.
Calgary has no 1st or 2nd rd pick this yr, but, they do have Sam Bennett and a couple of D prospects of interest.
I like both as trade partners, and depending on price, would be happy with either, but a slight edge to Calgary due to roster player potential.
Sounds about right. I keep wondering if there is a larger type package in play here. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
And since the Flames were mentioned, go Philly, then go Flames. Those are the 2 I'd like to deal with anyways.
