  1. Agreed 3., plus this is a type of player we need. Imho.
  2. Your going to like him, I swear it.
  3. Defensive forward, just what the Dr. Ordered!!! Well done Kyven, Well done..... (Ducks)
  4. Sabres made a TRADE!!!
  5. As I sat on my throne of last evenings dinner choice regret, I heard a voice....... "If you purge him out, they will come" And...... "Go the distance, ease our pain" It was very shortly after this, during the courtesy flush period, that I realized the voice I heard was mine. Skinner gone by end of day today is my hope.
  6. I am in the same line of thought. Let us hope it happens.
  7. Cowboy night method acting in the Ritchie household 9 months earlier?
  8. It's not a bad pick based on all of the info we have now. And yes, keeping the talent pipeline flowing with developing skilled players is never a bad decision. These last 13 years have been very trying on the fan base here in Western New York, which is why the feeling of failure for many not using the pick for an immediate roster upgrade is hitting home. The player is very good, and the present circumstances surrounding the club shouldn't reflect on the player himself.
  9. Hellanus This name alone should strike fear in to every opposing player in the league. Hide the baked beans!!!
  10. Flowing locks? That flow is so thin now that in another 2 years I won't be able to tell him and Adams apart.
  11. Misery loves company, come join the party....
  12. For the 2nd rdr of course. It feeds Adams draft is our playoffs fetish
  13. You just had to.jinx it, didn't ya......could of said I don't want a trade for an impact roster player? Why don't you kick my dog while your at it 🤣
  14. Dahlins son?
  15. Zzzzzzzzz..........huh, what I miss?
  16. I expected more.... Do better 😜
  17. Jeff Skinner has been a true trooper for the Sabres. Let me make this abundantly clear, no one should be spitting venom at Jeff. He's earned the right to control the situation, and if you aren't on board with that, well, I feel sad for you. Jeff, regardless of the outcome, from this 50+ yr Sabres fan, thank you. And I mean that with all that I am. Thank you. Good luck going forward, may your your life's journey be fulfilled.
  18. My views are expressed above shrader. I firmly believe with his addition, the tide has turned.
  19. I get it. Your not accepting yet to the reality of the situation. And that by no means, in any way is a slap towards you personally or your view. But the reality is, at least in an overwhelming number of Sabres faithful I speak with nearly daily, is that Ruffs years of experience is more than just window dressing, it is listened to. I believe that not out of some life long love/lust of era gone by, but out of what's being reported combined with what we factually know his career to be. Take it as you will, but as an older fan admittedly, one that watched the truly greats skate in Sabres jerseys, from the 70's on up, I not only believe this to be the case, I know it. It's time to come in from the rain, and Ruff is that umbrella to make it happen, again in my humbled opinion.
  20. Me to. I don't doubt they are taking multiple inputs. I'm not thinking that at all, I'm thinking.....good, an additional well experienced voice in the room. Is that so much to believe?
  21. If you think Ruff hasn't been a voice in what is needed, I don't know what to say. Especially given Adams falling just short of getting over the hump of playoff appearance. Sure Adams is by title the GM, but Ruffs career experience speaks for itself, of course they're going to more than listen to his input. He is the mentor in the room, if you doubt that, your only denying the reality of the Sabres current circumstances imho.
  22. I see things coming, good, bad, will be played out this coming season. But one thing is certain, Ruff is making moves. So happy he's back at the helm.
