Upgrade in Net, we need a goalie badly, along with a 2/3C. Botterill, get it done!!!!

We have 4 RHD's, 1 of which is an RFA at seasons end. We need an upgrade in Net to be sure. We need a 2/3C and could use another RHS RW'er. We can make a move or 2 to upgrade. The real question is, will Botterill make those moves to give the team a real shot at not only running for a playoff spot, but making some noise in the playoffs if they do make it?

I'm not worried about a Vegas deal. My eyes for the main deal are on Tampa. With secondary deals, 1 or 2 of them. The deadline is Monday, plenty of time and teams with needs left.

I'm hoping Botterill holds out right up to deadline day to be honest Tom. I have a hunch it's Montour (unsigned RFA) or Risto. In either case, an offensive minded RHD with either team control or some term is going to be 1st rd pick and 2/3 center with some term worthy. Just a hunch is all. But I'm definitely looking at Tampa.

Really odd this is all happening a week before the deadline. Even if coincidence, you couldn't write a better story line if it allows the Sabres to garner deadline talent and it pushes them in to the playoffs. Oh the intrigue...……….lol
