  1. Please let's not have this thread shut down, again. I think there is some valuable insight to be had here by people in the know. I understand that politics plays a significant role in all of this but there are other places on this website it can be done. I too have a political opinion on this but I won't let it get in the way of an update on a hospital status, how to make your own hand sanitizer or how Shrader knows where all the edible meat is. Suffice to say I don't trust anyone at this point besides my own instinct.
  2. If a vaccine for this is indeed possible then we'd all get vaccinated and be safe against it in the future unless it mutated, no? Maybe this has been addressed on here and I missed it.
  3. Maybe he's been tasked with spearheading the production of new test kits.
  4. Flip side of this thread, song that I didn't like before and realize I despise even more now:. Bennie and the Jets. Any songs/musicians that drive you nuts?
  5. Question:. Do current events permit increased hours of alcohol consumption at home?
  6. Also, wipes are convenient but 409 or similar products and paper towel/ rags do the same thing. I think too many people have honed in on sanitizer/wipes when in reality they have an abundance of disinfecting products they forget about kicking around the house.
  7. I have a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my vehicle. That's for the instance of making a trip to the store. Other than that it's soap, soap and more soap around the house.
  8. And to all of you in the medical field combating this or those that are directly associated with fighting this ***** show keep punching it in the ***** mouth.
  9. My condolences. Sounds like she passed away after living life to the fullest.
  10. How was the meat section? Fun as in only pigs feet and chicken gizzards left?!
  11. Spring Peepers out for the first time tonight. Right on time.
  12. Terrible, hence why I had a "good time" in high school.
  13. An Algebra book?
  14. My job description falls under essential personnel so it's business as usual. Semi-quarantine sucks but it's a good opportunity to do some stuff with the kiddos (ie. volcano science experiment). Looking forward to making some messes in the name of science.
  15. Savage, I love it. Think it's about time to pick the controller up again.
  16. Don't knock it til you try it.
  17. One thing that has impressed me during this ***** show is the scientific community going hard in the paint on this. I keep imagining a bunch of these people in a lab furiously working around the clock blaring Metallica Battery on repeat. Keep on keeping on you brilliant mofos.
  18. I was thinking it might be a good time to visit China...
  19. I'm sure most are aware or it may not affect you directly but be cognizant of border restrictions in the works.
  20. It will be interesting to see whether their critically endangered status is helped or hindered by all of this. If anyone is interested, National Geographic had a series of articles about pangolins within the last year.
  21. The Sabres did something?! I'll have to hit pause on my silent meditation in case something else happens.
  22. I haven't watched wrestling since I was about 10 but this no fan attendance thing is weird AF and makes wrestling look even creepier than it normally looks to me.
  23. What's up with these rheumatoid arthritis medications? Sounds like two of them are being used in high risk or severe cases? I get that an actual vaccine might take a while but it sounds like there is also a focus on medications to deal with those already infected? I get that those of you in the medical field don't have time for these questions so I'm hoping at least someone like Tondas can entertain me with a witty response.
  24. I always wanted to join a gang: https://www.livescience.com/macaque-fight-thailand-temple-coronavirus.html
  25. Good luck to you and your family. If it is it hopefully it only ends up being on the mild side of the spectrum.
