I would hate to see Kane win anything but I'm indifferent to Okposo. Happy for ERod though. Team tossed him away and too many people here made slights on him in various ways. Been bounced around the league and never found a home until now even though he contributed on every team he was on. Huge contributor in the final. Congratulations EROD!!!!!!!!!!

If that was his number here in Buffalo Adams is an idiot. If he wanted substantially more here and gave Colorado a reduced number then Adams made the right decision in moving him. Good number for Colorado though if he can stay at 2C and produce.

Some things don't change though. Standards and work ethics and team unity still hold for many of the top teams and that's part of why they are the top teams. You can have personalities and individuals as long as they put team first. We shall see what happens here.

There's some talk about a 3 way with Boston Ottawa and Philly but there's no way to get to any substance behind that rumor. Ullmark apparently does want an extension if it's Ottawa. Last version out there is Ullmark and Lauko for Chychrun with extensions on both sides.

I suspect Ruff will try to make this team as a whole more defensively responsible and the hardest change will be for the forwards to learn his team systems and structure. This would also explain why he would want Skinner gone, if that is in fact true. At least I hope so.

Okposo is in for Cousins so we can see if the motivating captain can motivate 🙂

I agree with you in part, and that certainly explains Appert with the prospects and younger guys but it could still have been a mix. I still firmly believe Matt Ellis is Adam's eyes and ears in the locker room. Ruff knows him from before so I guess he's okay with him being around but I'd rather they have brought in a defensive specialist to join the staff. I suppose Lindy will take that on himself.
