i dont think anything is wrong with 23. i think he is just not developing as fast as we expect/want as fans. opponents know his strengths and weaknesses now and he needs to adjust his game to get around it. sure he is having a bad year, but so is nearly everyone else on the team. they have a new coach with a new system and as of now they are still having issues. i dislike GMTM, but not for his drafts. it was his decision to tank it to get mcdavid and it backfired and we got eichel instead. as much as i love the sabres, i am glad it backfired. wasting a year of the fans excitement so they could be in line for the next gretzky is not worth the lost integrity of the franchise. back to the topic, in the long run i think 23 will be just fine. whether it be for buffalo or whatever team he is shipped to for draft picks/package deal.

i saw on shop.nhl.com they had a coupon that said 20% off sitewide + free shipping on orders 50+, some exclusions apply. the exclusions were the typical, jerseys, specialty items, but at the end it said "other". hmm, other? i tried a sweatshirt which i really liked. i added it to the cart, hit the coupon it said. this item doesnt apply. it matched the criteria for what should have worked but it didnt. i tried a different shirt, again, it didnt work. finally i added about 25 to 30 shirts/sweatshirts to my cart, making sure that all of them matched the criteria for the coupon eligibility. The total bill was 1200 dollars, which as we all know 20% off should be 240 dollars. i added the coupon. 5 dollars off. i didnt want to bother to figure out which item actually worked, but it is such nonsense false advertising that almost all of the items did not accept the coupon. i called NHL shop support, and the lady was nice enough to tell me that not everything will work for the coupon, and she cant help me. i felt pretty pleased. needless to say i didnt order from them. i was able to find a couple of hockey tshirts in my size from amazon for 6 dollars, and even a springtime coat for 14 dollars, so it wasnt all bad.

i have been a fan of the sabres since the early 90's when i first started to watch hockey. i love hockey so much, that on nights that the sabres dont play, i find a different game to watch, doesnt matter which team is playing. my cat sits on my fat belly and watches every game with me. i had tickets to the flyers-sabres game in the box seats, and chose not to go. i made up every excuse why i couldnt go, i had an ear ache, i was tired, i didnt want to get home late. truth is, this team has gotten so lazy and uncaring that i didnt want to watch them. they get behind and give up most times. i havent ever seen anything like it. maybe it is just me, but it honestly seems like everyone on the team is waiting for someone else to do something. I dont care If the team stinks, if they give full effort every night Whether this team is the worst or not, i cant say. I can say, it is the most unwatchable for me.

i have a curse in regards to going to the movies. i havent been able to go to a movie in 10 years without someone doing something to irritate me to the point of taking me out of the movie during that time. this was no different. about halfway into it, some <insert curse word here> came into the move with his cell phone flashlight on walking back and forth. finally coming into my isle, walking to the guy on the end and proceeded to tell him that the guy was in his seat quite loudly. the guy finally said this move has been going on for over an hour and perhaps he was in the wrong theater. of course the guy cant just leave without yelling everyone makes mistakes you dont have to be a <BLANK> about it. star wars is my main thing. typically i skip movies in the theaters because of the history of creeps in the area. interrupting the movie like this is infuriating. it was kind of an important scene too, and i dont really know what happened

i wont put any spoilers, but i liked it. i didnt think it was better than 7, but still light years better than the prequels.

the flyers are out hustling on almost every play. day in and day out it gets harder to watch

i am not going tonight. i am getting an ear infection now, and i am just plain old grumpy in general this week. i have sat in the box section before, and it is very nice. the 200 seats are smaller in size with not much leg room, but i am a large sized person. its the reason i get the box seats because they are bigger. the stadium is nice.

the food and drink isnt free. there is a private bar and bathrooms, but you do have to pay. there are corporate boxes, which i think have free stuff. i am not in those. i have a different box. i am in cb10

i have a ticket to the game tonight in the luxury box. i dont think i am going to go though. meh, i dont know what to do

i have to say, the team plays much better when they are ahead. many times when they are behind they just quit. the problem is they have no clear leader that will call them out for quitting on the team. they have a goalie that gives up so many goals on break-aways or turn over mistakes in the neutral zone, which ultimately puts them behind, which makes them quit. Jack, who is supposed to be the star player is not yet mature enough to be the leader yet. i think if they got a real club house leader and a solid goalie, and i mean solid. i think many of the other problems will correct themselves.

i would like to see andrew shaw camped in front of the opposing goalie in a sabres uniform. he was a great garbage collector in chicago, and would really help with the scoring.

i have a ticket to thursday's game against the flyers in philly in the luxury box. i can honestly say i dont know if i will go. its hard to watch how bad they are playing.

i am surprised that so many people think he is good enough. it seems to me if the puck is not hit directly at him it goes in. break aways, slap shots, you name it

that is the ONLY reason i havent done it. i would love to make some extra cash, but i cant get past this

i will watch this one for sure. my 2 favorite teams playing. I followed the blackhawks the year the sabres purposely tanked because i wouldnt watch that nonsense and they won the cup that year.

i dont see there being any value for lehner, honestly. any breakaway or slap shot not hit directly at him will go in. :angel:
