Its hatd to trust though. You have one side saying masks dont help and are not important The other side says the exact opposite. Both opinions are politically driven and i dont believe either has the people's best interest in mind Im not Democrats or Republicans. I just miss the days of the two sides working together to try to do what is best for the people as a whole. Neither side is doing what is right at this point. Thats as political as I will get. And just adding that in my opinion, they both have proven untrustworthy

Tinfoil hat time. I dont trust any study/report at this point. Some how, some way, this virus became political, and nearly every American news outlet has a political agenda (i say nearly only because i cant say every single one does) Too many outlets twist facts and numbers to match whatever agenda. Even read one at the beginners that said it was up some crazy percentage, but it was because it went from like 30 to 98 or whatever. Yes the % change was significant but the counts at that time were insignificant. But you cant report that statement I even read one that said masks that go around your head are worse than no mask at all. Logically thinking i dont see how thats even remotely possible and shortly after there was an independent study done at the univ of ga that proved it inaccurate. At this point i trust only my own judgment when it comes to the virus and that is to stay home unless necessary. Eventually a working vaccine/treatment will arrive and life will get back to normal. One thing to keep in mind when talking about the statistics with comparing it. Many cases go unreported because of minor symptoms or none at all. In fact at one point they said the number of actual cases could be significantly higher. also how many people had it before testing

but its not just the usa, nearly every country is seeing another surge, and many of the states are getting their first real surge. I live in nj and we had something like 4k cases per day in april per day, and we are at 500 to 1000 per day. Our numbers are only going up because we re-opened, so we knew it would go up. the biggest difference is deaths. you were hearing large amounts of deaths and now its much lower. I am truly hopeful that we get a working vaccine very soon. i havent been able to see my family since march and my mother is elderly and not in the greatest of health.

My wife decided that its ok to go to a charity event this coming weekend. I told that we have been trying very hard to be safe and only be around others when necessary, and things are still not good out there. surprisingly she asked her family their opinion and they agreed with me. I am not a huge sam fan. I dont think he should be let go/traded unless he gets more than he is worth in arbitration. With that said, sam seemed professional from what i have seen. Jack seemed to take losses worse than sam in regards to talking with the media. Sam seems like such a happy fellow

i am not sure if UPL is eligible to be taken since he doesnt have any nhl time. with that being said, if UPL is eligible to be taken, i would protect him. if not, you protect Ullmark and call up some shmoe that has no chance to ever make the team and let them have at him. i found this link with the rules, but it doesnt specify how many games of nhl time is required to be eligible. i was listening to biron and andrew peters on the xm radio talk show last night. i found it very interesting that peters said that he thinks ullmark has earned the right to start the season as the number one and prove he is worth keeping. he said he thought the sabres really need to get rid of 1 right hand shot defenseman and get a veteran left hand shot, and that should be their priority I know Peters has forgotten more than i will ever know, but i dont agree with the ullmark part of it. the sabres have a shot to be good THIS year. Next year, they possibly lose the #1 LW and their #2 center. If the sabres can get a true 1a goalie, then they are 10+ wins greater than they were last year. Hutton went like all of december giving up 5+ goals, the sabres lost 6 of 7 at the end. How many of those losses were due to terrible tending vs just losing because they didnt score enough (not scoring enough should be answered by hall and staal). I dont think we should get rid of ullmark, but i do think he should be the number 2 We dont know if cozens will be ready to fill a #2 Center role for the season after this coming season. He might, but we dont know yet

I dont understand journalist inserting their thoughts and opinions on stuff. I miss the days of just reporting the news and letting people have their opinions based on facts. Even those facts are not accurate when you have reports like we had in nj saying our cases are as high as they were in may We had basically the same amount since may to now, around 500. 1 minute of research showed that it was click bait fear mongering. We are not any worse off than we have been for the last 4 months. Its exhausting and in my opinion the media has lost integrity and should be taken as " reality TV "

to be honest, and all joking aside, the cody eakin signing is over shadowed by the hall signing, and almost nobody is talking about it. you will not find a stronger mullet than cody eakin. I mean its definitely a #1 line mullet. On top of that, his mustache could compete with any team's best mustache in the entire league. you will be hard pressed to find someone with a combination as good as that on any team

I hate to say it but mittlestadt will probably never be a full time nhl player. I get the impression that he felt like he was owed his spot and did nothing to earn it. I also think that being sent down will not be enough to get him to hit the gym like he needs to. I suspect he was always so much better than the people he played with, without giving the grear efforts. I hope I'm wrong

today i started listening to the NHL channel on sirius xm streaming. they talked about the hall signing for a minute. they said flat out, the sabres have no chance of re-signing hall next year and the sabres still have no chance of making the playoffs. i dont want to try to say i am an expert because i am far from it. however, i dont see how they could say such a thing on either case. first, hall came here because the money was good and because of kruegar. i believe i read that colorado offered similar money and 2 years. second, i dont see how you cant say the sabres arent a playoff team at this point. they have 2 elite lines, they have very good 3rd line, and their 4th line could match up nicely with anyone. they have OK defense, sure it could be better. the only thing that truly concerns me is they dont have great goalies. hutton was great and then he was horrible. if we believe his eye was really the problem, i dont see him being a big issue. if we dont believe it, then we probably do have an issue there. ullmark is a #2, really. i hate to say it. however, i think with the sabres offense, they can put up big numbers. i honestly dont see the sabres not making the playoffs this year. i guess signing up for the streaming when i did was maybe not the best timing. it was 30 minutes into streaming when they started talking bad about the sabres. i only signed up because marty biron said he was on at 5pm for a show. i wanted to hear it...and i got a free echo dot.
