Granato is to blame if the team is unprepared. They have the talent. Granato made the right call on that offsides challenge. However his response of just being quiet and shutting up was telling of how he treats any adversity. Without a fight. It’s no surprise our team has no fight either. I miss Lindy

Mittelstadt was pegged to him at the start of last year and looked just as lost as Cozens does now. Once Mittelstadt broke free he surprised everyone.

Benson is worth watching Oloffson is a problem Thompson showed some signs of life but that line needs to get it together Cozens is struggling. I blame VO Johnson and Clifton are reassuring instead of the goon squad we’ve dealt with last few years Levi is fine. 2/3 goals were BS deflections

I blame coaching the most. Some players aren’t ready yet- Thompson, Krebs, etc. They have no system response to anything the 1-3-1 tore them apart and we’re losing the Xs and Os. Levi was fine. Benson is fine, that penalty was a load of crap. Oloffson is a problem out there though. Holding back his linemates Cliffton didn’t scare me like he did during pre season. Jokiharju did exactly what he’s always done, if they swap Cliffton up with Power then I think we have a chance. Got to get Power over the sophomore slump he’s in.

Good thing to start getting physical. Of course refs don’t care how dirty the Rangers get. Typical

Dahlin has always been a better player than Power no matter the age. Dahlin was asked to salvage a terrible team. Power hasn’t had a great partner yet but he hasn’t been on a tire fire either.

My anxiety for the reason has been reduced by half. Power-Joki is still a pairing sharing weaknesses. Honestly thought Stillman did fine there. Clifton in low minutes and paired with someone responsible at least has a chance. Forward lines make sense. With Oloffson’s spot being Savoies to take and Quinn’s to reclaim later on.

He brings joy to watching hockey.

I still think Stillman played really well for us and brought an element we needed to the team. Even in limited minutes. The other small guys who do boneheaded things offered nothing to help.

We’re *****. Stillman was the only passable defenseman we’ve added the last year. Bryson is a tire fire. Clifton is a tire fire.

Clifton is bottom pairing at best. Doesn’t have the hockey IQ to play this system. If he’s getting top pairing minutes we’re doomed. not worried about goaltending. No goalie can handle bad defense.

The only thing to focus on here is putting Clifton into the waiver wire

Hope it was just rust for Clifton but yeah he did suck. Joki is the same and he can’t be with Power. They share a weakness in the d zone when the puck is behind the net they get lost. Bensen has good and bad. He is special, you take the bad for the good. Johnson shored up his mistakes today and still looked good on offense. Oloffson is toast, he’s just too much of a defensive liability and his good doesn’t make up for it Other rookies didn’t do anything to impress today, they need Rochester time UPL did nothing to save himself. If Comrie looks average next game he edges it out imo. I bet we keep 3 though
