This team is a lot of fun to watch, I hope Middlestadt continues to have games like this. If so I would be wrong about him which I’m perfectly fine with.

It’s clear as day that Middlestadt shouldn’t be here long term, I’m hoping he is getting the playing time to pad his stats so we can deal him for a veteran Dman who hits.

I still hope they get bigger and tougher but I’m not sure you trade for that, usually that’s free agency. A defensemen would be great either to replace Bryson or Fitzgerald.

That Thompson goal is 1 of the best goals I've seen in awhile. It's almost like he knows he's bigger than everyone else and there is nothing they can do about it. I was very concerned when the Sabres extended him with only 1 year of experience but if he keeps this up then that contract is going to be an absolute bargain. I'm so glad I was wrong about him!

Ever since Samuelsson came back we started winning again, is it a coincidence? I think not.

Top 4 veteran D, also an upgrade to Bryson. Goalie who can bail our team out when they aren't playing like they should be. Get bigger especially in the bottom 6 even if we go the route of NYR, I want some nasty players who nobody wants to play against. And i don't necessarily mean goons but big bodies who can hit, stand up for teammates, grind along the boards and for the love of all that is holy some players who stand in front of the net.

A veteran defensemen is a must have at this point, Bryson/Fitzgerald is not getting it done.
