Quinton Hughes will be another D if available botts may look at. Would still like Botts to go after a forward though. Any of those 3 if available would do nicely.

Very exciting prospect these two on the same roster, and another top 5 pick this year hopefully.

Seen our 3-1 loss in detroit on freesports and premier sports also show the games so i do see quite a few of them. My wife goes crazy at me when we play as the majority of our games start at 12am here and i am awake most of the night then on weekdays on a 5.45am train to work :). An enjoyable journey if we win. Saw us in New jersey in February for the first time but next on the bucket list is to do what modo has done and come to Buffalo to see us play.

Just announced here that our game against Philly next friday is being shown live on freesports. My friday night is complete. new star wars film at 7.00 then home for our game starting at 12am. The joys of being a fan from europe :)

Just wondering regarding botts and what his plan is for next year, does he hope that Nylander is ready to go into the top 6(although there is still much debate if he is that quality yet?) and the likes of CJ Smith, Rodrigues, Bailey, Fasching are slotted into the bottom 6. This would give our bottom 6 players who have had a full season in Rochester and hopefully if things continue as they have been then a winning one at that. This would hopefully give our 3rd/4th lines a much needed boost and added threat. Also draft time could be interesting if we lose the lottery(Again) do we take Svechnikov and will he be a NHL ready top 6 forward?? Or do we go D?? If we take a dman in the possible Kane trade and Guhle is ready do we go for a forward in the draft?? Thoughts??

This is no short term fix, as boohickie says rochester will be built up succesfully before here as per Botterill's plan. i know its frustrating and we have been here before but Botts has inherited the mess left behind by GMTM and it is what it is. I know it is frustrating and it annoys me intensely but we have to give him time to rebuild. Whether Housley is the coach to do this i don't know but hopefully we will get there. I have faith in botterill and hope he can do this.

Yeah as frustrating as it is we are pretty much starting again. Botterill is the person to do it though, i do believe that.

Maybe Housley can do this maybe not but as already mentioned botterill is going to build a succesful team in Rochester and a winning mentality which we so need and then start to move players to the sabres who are ready. This will be no short term fix and i am as frustrated as anybody but Botterill has to be given a chance to fix this. I have to admit i liked Tim Murray when he was here but his shortcomings and bad decisions are now starting to show. I am still hoping we can get this right.

Same here, i am in a happier place than i was after the devils and islanders games but starting to realise what botterill is doing here and the players are starting to get there slowly with the new system
