Usually the case, but they are in desperation mode now. If Granato plays another goalie and they get shelled, he will be second guessed all off season, including from inside the locker room. He has to ride with Levi I believe.

Levi was named the first star in the Garden tonight. Middlestadt was the third star.

Definitely some maturity achieved tonight. Could have folded in the third but fought back and did what they had to against a good team in a tough building to win.

Yep. Been an issue all year. They have been horrible on defense and penalty kill all year with not even a hint of improvement or even different tactics attempted. The asst coaches on this staff are in way over their heads.

Nice to finally have a goalie who is good in shootouts. That will help a lot in future years.
