This has been going on for 13 years. History repeating itself. We just have a new group of “core” young players who have no idea how to win or what it takes to win in this league and they were given the keys to the kingdom before they were ready and had proven themselves. The Sabres have been doing this exact thing for years now and it never ever works.

If only the Sabres would have had a GM that would have realized all this back in July when it should have been fixed.

Amazing they actually made the right call. I’m shocked

All Kevyn has been doing is selling Pegula on patience with the young guys. It’s only buying Kevyn more time as an NHL GM, nothing more. It’s not translating to being a winning organization or actually playing playoff games. Eventually Pegula will realize this. Sadly by that point, we will have extended our streak of futility to 13, 14, 15 … years.

Kevyn is still too busy looking for players that want to be in Buffalo. No wonder he is having such a hard time building a winner here.

Maybe if we put ALL three of them on net at the same time we might do ok??

Bad luck? Bad goaltending

We now live in a world where the Winnipeg Jets are laughing at us and our putrid goaltending. I wonder when Kevyn will ever get embarrassed?!! I won’t hold my breath.

At least last year we felt like this was an ascending team in the league. This years team not only hasn’t taken the next step, I think you could make a healthy argument they have regressed and not sure there will be any help from above forthcoming.

There is no sense of urgency with the head coach or GM, because they know they are safe no matter what. It’s trickling down to the players.

Sabres got six out of eight points this week. It certainly wasn’t pretty the last three games but we desperately need the points anyway we can get them.

If only we had a GM capable of putting an NHL qualify defense on the ice. Maybe next season. Adams has a five year leash. He’s in no real hurry.

To them I think they believe it’s easier than actually winning games.

Agreed. They will give him more chances than he is worth due to his part in the trade. Front office has to do their best to “win” that trade.

Sadly yes. Probably a better chance of Adams giving DG an extension than firing him this year.

He only had all off season. Maybe next summer he will get around to it. Summer of 2025 it’s rumored he will fix the goaltending.

Yeah I don’t see Krebs on this roster in three years.

UPL wanted to get the pressure of back to back shutouts out of the way early.

Another season of Buffalo goaltenders unable to stay healthy. Seems like it’s every year lately.

October has been a god awful month for the Buffalo teams. Two promising seasons suddenly look ugly.
