Horrible night for Sabres all around. Isles, Pens, Fla all pick up two points. The climb up is getting steeper and steeper.

And that’s why the playoffs are at least a year away for them still.

And of course the Pens come back from down 4-0 to win in OT

I think it won’t be until 2023-2024 season where we see his full potential. Not expecting a lot this year since he doesn’t know the system and there won’t be a lot of practices with the crazy schedule the rest of the way. Hopefully it’ll be enough to stick around. If not, teams are always looking for grit at the trade deadlines. Cozens wasn’t injured, he lost his blade and couldn’t stand up.

He’s done ok this year. Always shows flashes leaving you wanting more. I’m still convinced he is going to be a part of a trade package at some point in the next 12 months.

We are definitely overpassing tonight. Way more than usual if that’s even possible. At home the Sabres try to be the Harlem Globetrotters on ice. On the road we play simpler and smarter. The season results speak for themselves.

That late goal hurts. I’m afraid the Sabres deserve a better result tonight than they are going to end up with.
