    Ugh. When will our farm system actually be good. Feels like the amerks have been terrible for awhile now. Hopefully they turn it around. What are they now 2-1?

    Ya if we're rolling 'three balanced lines' approach can we please move Kane down to a line in which he isn't playing with skilled players? Maybe swap out Kane and Reinhart?

    Ahhhhh the one guy that still gives me hope. Mittelstadt back on the ice tonight for the Gophers. He has a ways to go if he wants to break Eichel's 1.78 ppg pace.

    The problem is that's what Phil wants but we don't have the players to sustain it. We just don't. If Bailey and Baptiste showed up to earn a job then maybe. The way it is we have an underachieving top line. Then we took some talent from the second to put on the third. The problem is it creates a below avg second unit and the third still isn't good enough. In my view, we have 5 legit top 6 forwards on this team. It's already spread pretty thin having to justify playing Pommers/Girgs/Pouliot/Griffith as the 6th. Then you put Reinhart to the third and you end up with Jack playing with Pommer and Girgs barf.

    Jeez, come on guys. We're 3 games in. Leafs finally lost last night and we're due for a win. Let's man up and play with some speed and desperation tonight. We've got some good horses on this team. We need them to show the up. It is time.

    No no no Blue. You're the glue that holds this place together. It's like watching a couple continuously fight and yell obscenities at each other. When one of the parties just goes quiet it's usually because they don't have any fight left (or the other side is completely irrational). What scenario is it Blue? WHICH ONE IS IT?!

    Speaking of uproar, how is this board not going crazy over the new lines???? Reinhart already moved to the wing but they leave him on the 3rd line?? Really?! We want Girgs playing with Jack and think that's a good idea? If you are giving Sam his own line to centre then fine but if he's on the wing I see no reasonable explanation as to why he's on the third line and stone hand Girgs is playing with our franchise player.

    No chance buddy. I'm just starting to roll right now. Made the mistake of sitting Doug Martin last week. Guy is going to be a beast the rest of the way, bank on it!

    Beauty pass for an assist in the legends first 'semi-official' game. Only ended up with the one point though. They have him playing centre on the third line. I could see him moving into the top six by next month.

    I heard the segment too. Didn't say the player in that instance but went on to say jake McCabe was emotionally drained by the end of the season. I'm sure most guys were but he was specifically named.
