Absolutely this. I'm Canadian but was more excited to watch the US game last night just to watch middlestadt. Could not believe how little ice time it felt like he got. Did not look up the stats but I kept saying after a commercial break or stoppage why is be not out there. Maybe it's my Sabres rose coloured glasses on but the second half of the game Casey was the best player on the ice.

Thank the friggen Lord. Sam is valuable on the top line playing with Jack. He's not a centre right now. He's not effective on a lower line. He's smart and has to play with skilled players to succeed. Agreed that this may be his last shot for awhile. Hope he makes the most of it.

Beaulieu has been a disaster, Antipin has been a disaster, Scandella has been a revelation. I guess 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

I've been following Mittlestud's college results almost as much as the Sabres. I'm sooooo pumped to finally get to watch Casey and see what he can do on this stage.

XGMTM was suppose to be known for his drafting. We were told he had an eye for scouting. I had visions of him with a Tim's cup in a broken down arena in Rural Ontario watching junior kids nobody had ever herd of. Fact is for the picks he had it's very disappointing the results thus far. Under his watch I'm not counting Jack as that was obvious (though I thank him for trading our goaltenders to ensure last place) the only bright spots might be Guhle who could turn into a player and I'm still holding out for Pu. Still time for some of these kids to develop but absolutely nobody vastly outperforming their draft spot.

I must stop in and congratulate you Ink. You kicked my ass. Hunt is looking more like early season Hunt. Good luck in the finals.
