Man that was a fun game last night. Sabres now 5-0 in their last five against Boston, Tampa and Toronto. Now 6-1-1 in their last 8 games against Atlantic teams. Team is now 10-8-2 over their last 20 games since the blowout against Dallas. Are they turning the corner? Starting to really understand Housley's system. Maybe Housley is a good coach after all? Would be nice to see them continue this stretch of play over the remaining 15+ games. The team doesn't appear to be as desolate as once thought in my eyes.

Ya the only hope I have right now is the leafs defence is pretty bad.

Nope. He’s missed time this season due to separate back, concussion and shoulder issues. He’s out with separated shoulder at the moment.

No need for the bags. Team is actually been playing pretty well of late. Since being blown out to Dallas on January 20th this team has gone 9-7-2. That's a 91 point pace without Eichel for a majority of them and Kane the last three.

Ya in this age of the NHL I'm not concerned with his size. More concerned he doesn't have a great top end speed.

TBH the draft lottery is bigger to me. It's unlikely but if we win I know the optimism will be back come October. If we don't then I won't be getting my hopes up for anything.

Come on GA. Worst trade in franchise history?! LMAO. We're trading a rental player. One with a very checkered history. There's no evidence out there that there was ever a better deal on the table. To me this is still better than getting absolutely nothing. Still not thrilled with the return but it is what it is.

It sure makes it fun but I'm in agreement with whomever said the 'insiders' and speculation coming out is really just garbage and noise. These guys are either being fed info by teams to drive up/down price or they are telling us info that is so vague there's no way they can be proven wrong.

I don't know if it's going to be foolishly overpegged. As the team looking to sell JBots should be setting a high asking price to begin with. Just as I'm sure he will receive some lowball offers. At the end of the day it will likely be something in between. Sounds like the price seems to have 'dropped' from a 1st and a mid level prospect to a second and better prospect. Is that even less value? With the team trading for him likely picking 25+ in the draft, I think I would rather the better prospect and 2nd round pick myself.

After wasting my time making the trip up there for the Dallas game, this team redeemed itself. Many Bruins fans in attendance that barely got an opportunity to cheer. Other than that horrendous 5 minutes we were pinned in our own end during the second I thought that was one of the most complete games they've played.

Thoughts I might wake up to a Kane trade. Nothing like watching this right down to the wire.
