Sorry if I took it the wrong way. Jack was hurt for 2 months, ROR for while, Kane for awhile. We honestly didn't try and suck this year. Leafs did it and didn't get punished. We may obviously not win it but I don't think it's fixed. After watching mcdavid and Daley reaction to Edmonton winning it sold me on it not being fixed. Odds are in our favor right now. I'm trying to trust the math.

True barely said anything. I'm with Wildcard on this. This is a Sabres forum after all and the leafs are a pretty big, hated rival. Should also mention Millbank is a rare leaf fan that has been respectful with his posts. Just seems strange reading a Jets fan wishing a leafs fan good luck prior to Game 7 on our forum. I deal with leaf all day everyday in these parts, don't take away my sanctuary.

@LikeEich Although I completely agree with you that Anderson is a legit, good goaltender, his numbers will not help your argument. Yes the leafs D are bad, but he sported an .860 save percentage in the series. Plus, the biggest game, when they needed him most, he let in 6 goals (of which some were in the Ryan Miller Mr. Softy variety).

I don't think there is anyone outside of the top 2 that can make the jump and be a big time impact player next year anyways. D take longer to develop and the potential of those next tier of wingers is close to the next tier of d. So I go d. Let's just hope after Saturday we won't have to have this discussion anyways. I think so. If we get pick one or two you take the consensus guy. If it's 3 or 4 you take the best dman available which is still bpa in my opinion.
