I watched him play a lot here in AZ, he's actually a pretty decent player. Not top 6, but a solid player. You will notice him out there, he contributes, but he's limited. definitely higher end than Flynn, Vinnie is a 30-40 point player over a full season.

I don't see his value increasing to what KA is asking until he's healthy and has proven he can play at an elite level. Maybe if he has surgery and plays in the Olympics.

Do you think a doctor can determine what the best course of treatment and long term prognosis is based on what we read in the press? Would you trust a doctor's advice that didn't examine you or your medical records? Why? What will they gain from that, and how will that hurt the Sabres?

Does it really matter? Do you think there are GM's that don't really have any interest that will ask for medical records?

How can Adams expect to make a trade without giving the other teams his medical records. Makes no sense.

The concern here could be that a healthy Eichel makes that conditional pick less valuable, as his team would likely finish higher in the standings. The way things stand now, the only way to get top value is for a healthy Eichel to prove his value with the Sabres before a trade.

Nothing wrong with a player being most concerned about his well being, the team success being right after that.

My meaning is that I wish things worked out and Eichel would stay here, also that any trade we make likely won't help us as much as we need it too.

Pretty sure there will be multiple teams interested in Eichel that he wouldn't mind going to. If he is healthy and Adams wants to trade him, I really don't see the NMC as a huge issue. He'll be easy to trade if he's back to his normal skill level, and he if really wants to leave, he won't hinder a trade. I hate to agree with you on this, but you are correct. But I still don't see a trade helping us that much and it will probably hurt us.

A concert is a 'one time' event. Hockey is 40 nights and not really a novelty. I go to the arena when the Sabres play here, but won't make an effort just to see a game. It's not weird that the majority of people that can afford to regularly attend hockey games live in the areas of higher income and population. Glendale is lower income and fewer people, Scottsdale and areas around have much higher incomes and larger population. It's not complicated.

America west was upgraded recently and is no longer configured to host hockey games, so it's out of the question.

The team just needs to average 2000 more per game and that shouldn't be a big issue if they move to Tempe. That's much closer to where the fans are. I'm thinking the Sabres are the team nobody wants to watch, I'd wager Coyotes will have better actual attendance per game than the Sabres this season. Just build the arena in the right area and they'll be fine. Would you drive an hour+ cross town in rush hour traffic on a Tuesday to see a game?

Local guy just bought the team, can't see him selling. They submitted plans for a sports complex in Tempe. Doesn't sound like someone looking to move.
