Not sure, big rink with more space to smaller rink and less space. Hard to say, what i do know is that he can skate and has one amazing wristshot. I would say 4th liner and PP would be the most realistic hope for him to start with.

Will be interesting to see Victor Olofsson among others, ofcourse. Ive seen the kid since youth and im hoping he will prove him self enough to be a part of the team sooner than everyone think

SHL or Elitserien as it was called before SHL was one of if not the best league in Europe before KHL started up for real. Most good players either went to NHL or Swizterland after making it in Elitserien and it was not very hard to replace them since the reputation of Elitserien was worldwide, a good portal into NHL, Switz was basicly for cash only, 2-3 times more salary there than in Elitserien (SHL) for a decent player. But now SHL is like nothing compared to what it was, hopefully we can keep producing talants over here but the money and budgets for teams are are dropping like a stone. Every team had atleast 1 profile before, a guy that was born in the same city that bleeded for the team that could get spectators all warm in their heart, this stuff doesnt even exsist anymore. SHL has dropped like a bomb here in Sweden and i personally dont even watch games anymore because in what direction SHL has been moved. Obviously we can still produce talant but the hype over SHL is basicly dead over here. What i more specificly mean by this is that obviously weve never been able to keep the stars from NHL, but the guys that are close to stars weve been able to keep because we could match Swiz- money or just because the quality was better, but when KHL came it was just not even possible. This is why its so hard for the teams these days to get ppl to come to the games becasuse the skilllevel has decreased and everyone thats pretty much good at the game leaves for NHL/KHL/Switzerland. So when we cant get ppl to come to our games, the moneybox for trying to have a big talatpool for every team keeps shrinking. It is what it is !

Trade: Ryan O'Reilly to St Louis Blues
MODO Hockey replied to CallawaySabres's topic in The Aud Club
Why is people so frustrated, it cant be worse than last season can it. I mean, obviously ROR was traded for something that does not have much to do with his abilitys on ice. Chill the fk out until December and we will see, not much else we can do either other than speculating for ever -
I would not mind William Nylander! Any news (?)

Holy Mackerel! Sabres Win Dahlin Lottery!
MODO Hockey replied to Randall Flagg's topic in The Aud Club
Look, Obviously its impossible to deny the hype over Rasmus Dahlin, the kid knows the expectations is going trough the roof and everythinig around him keeps reminding him of that, if the experts are right he will handle it like a true sportsman, it feels like his mind is a couple of years older than his actuall age and that will help alot. It will be hard on the kid for sure and its very important that this organisation nurture him well which im sure they will, i just hope they find someone that really can take care of him in a way that he feels home, home is so important in this matter. So you guys can copy paste this to Buffalo Sabres, hire "MODO" and the phat panny will once again prove such success. -
That wont happen, i dont believe it happened for Edmonton either regarding Mc.D
-
Its hard to compare them, depends what your looking at. The hockey was so different when Gretzky played that it makes it almost impossible to compare overall.

Said this earlier in my reply but once again, in my opinion i think Dahlin might have close to such hockeysense that Peter "The Great" Forsberg had, i see the similaritys quite often how Dahlin moves the puck and see the oportunites 20 seconds into the future like Peter could, Peter Forsberg is still the greatest forward ever that played this game, the talant he had was out of this world. Look at this great vid and then go back and look on Dahlin vids, the similarity is there. Imagine Ullmark becomes the goalie we need, a mini "Forsberg"- Dahlin on the blue, sure gonna help this team hell of a lot.

Really good song

I have. The kid litterly see hockey like no other defender ive ever watched. I watched Victor Hedman from 16 years old until he left for NHL, we are born here in the same town (Ornskoldsvik), ive not seen Rasmus as much as Victor obviously, but the answer is yes. Id say Rasmus has Victors size and the speed of Erik Karlsson, but id say Rasmus is even more skilled than Erik, the kid does these things you would think is impossible. Kids hockeysense is very much like Peter Forsberg (If you remember him), his talant is unbeliveble, its like he see the future 20 seconds, like he has 2 eyes built in his neck aswell. No one can tell the future, but id say most experts are right about Rasmus and i believe we will look back in the future and say "They were all right about Rasmus, this kid is a ###### god" :D

On this part, i could not agree more. Im sure Ullmark is ready to take the next step, Jbot also made that very clear and this is the reason he now will be in net for Sabres next season. Who would you want to see as "experianced veteran", any suggestion ? Id say Robert Luongo would be a good fit for Ullmark.
