Sweden USA in semi. This will be very tough for Sweden, USA has a rly good team.

No goalie in this league would have saved us doing 86 goals so far, this is the point. Your list doesnt make any sence regarding Sabres this season. IF we were scoring 4-5 goals each game and still kept losing, then i would agree. Not many ppl favour Lehner here, i sure as hell dont but facts speak for them self. We cant score goals, enough said.

And still we cant score goals.

And still Sabres has only scored 86 goals this season, pretty much says it all doesnt it. Lehner is no superstar that can win tons of games for a pretty much dead team, but he sure as hell would have kept us in the leap for playoffs. I dont like Lehner that much either, but he is not the biggest issue here.

Its kinda interesting though that you keep blaming Lehner. If you look at other goalies like Price, Varlamov, Allen, Bishop and more, they all are worse than Lehner statisticly this season and still their teams is ahead, you still blame Lehner and call him mediocre. Interesting indeed. If we had forwards that could score goals we would be top 10 in the league by now. Sigh

Anything positive with Nylanders game is a good thing for us, he needs it badly. He has alot of hockey in him, he just need the confidence to get it out there on the ice.

Agreed. But hopefully this can be a changer for him, his injury obviously also hurt his confidence. He is not yet himself, hopefully on a good way to become that after this tourney.
